I have developed a terrible allergy to hydroid stings. Therefore I wear gloves whenever the operator I am diving with will allow it. I am also an underwater photographer and being able to operate small buttons on my camera housing is important. I have been searching for a pair of gloves that both protects my hands and makes camera operation easy. These are the first pair of gloves I have found that meet both of my needs very well. The only thing I dont know at this point is how long they will last.
My wife has been carrying a pair of shears with her on every dive for many years and has used them on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately, the old pair were not stainless, so the rust finally got the best of them. I got these for her for Christmas and I anticipate that they will last for the rest of our diving careers.
I am an underwater photographer and have gotten tired of having cold hands when I dive in cooler water, but have had problems with lack of flexibility with gloves thicker than those for warm water. With the description of these gloves and the fact that they were on sale I decided to try them out. As things have turned out they stretch wonderfully so they really fit my hands very well and have the flexibility to make handling my housed camera not the problem it used to be.
