Spring straps are everything people say they are. Fuss-free and immediate donning and removal of fins. However, the pull-loop on these particular straps does not look like its going to last very long. For the price, absolutely worth it though, and I already plan to replace them with strong nylon parachute cord and a soft plastic hose protector the moment they rip. Get these and be happy.
A simple, durable, attractive-looking tool to get the job done. Some problems getting the base of the shaft to lock in its track above the trigger housing, but somehow became effortless when actually in the water. Spectra wishbones are durable, but make stretching the bands that extra inch to catch the sharkfin a real muscle-smoker. Fairly quiet underwater, and easy to maneuver. 63" gun needs only one band for solid point-of-aim, point-of-impact hits out to about 12 feet.
A tough bag with decent water repellency. Could be a little larger so that you dont have to coil your hoses so tightly to get it to fit. Side pocket good for keeping your documents dry.
go ahead and make the investment. the fit better in you bcd, dont hurt (as much) when you them on your foot or the boat deck, you can take weight out of them if you need them to weigh less but still want the pouch, the weight amount is always readily identifiable, and they are not that much more expensive.
