Akona Talon Knife
Rating: Akona Talon Dive knife 1/10/2010
So far okay....the snap in plastic lock clisere for knife into holder concerns me. Somewhat particular about being very aligned to allow proper "snap" for stowing. My impression is after "so many" snaps it will become worn and the knife will become loose. Knife appears to be made solidly.

Very nice bag that appears to be very durable. Would recomend to anyone.
Oceanic Ion 3X Mask
Rating: Oceanic ion 3X mask 1/9/2010
Replacement mask for a mask that Ive used for many dives. I tried the mask on in a dive shop not not with the strap. I have a medium large to large face. The mask straps were large (in length) and required me to tighten to the maximum setting to stay sealed to my face. Comfortable mask that seems to be very durable. The webbed strap and rear padding were very comfortable. I would recommend this mask to anyone with a larger face. If smaller than larger medium face order the small version!
Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel
Rating: Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel 1/9/2010
Ordered before a warm water vacation to replace another snorkel I have dived with for some time. Upon arrival, I took the snorkel out from beach for a snorkel adventure. For whatever reason, it took the snorkel three or four submersions until it was operating as a completely "dry" snorkel. BUT for the remainder of the week during all dive excursions the snorkel acted exactly as advertised. To note...the hard plastic mask holder included with the snorkel is very uncomfortable. I removed and replaced with a neoprene holder to provide much more comfort.
Mares Cruiser Pro Roller Backpack Bag
Rating: Mares Cruise Roller Pro 1/9/2010
Ordered two bags for two divers for warm water week trip. Very pleased with the bag and its apparent durability (one trip). Other than the 50lb airline limit, could easily get two set of warm water equipment in one bag.
