Ocean Quest Ez Spring Dive Fin Straps

I got these for my Aeris Velocity XPs and am very happy with them. They are very comfortable and they make doning and removing your fins a piece of cake in or out of the water. No loose straps and no need to adjust straps. Work well and Im very happy with mine. Only thing I noticed was the rubber portion wouldnt always stay centered but that didnt affect the comfort in anyway. Never noticed till it was time to take them off. I didnt notice with my dive boots, but it might be more noticable with a thinner fin sock though. Only thing I could think of that could possibly be an issue, though it hasnt been for me.

Ocean Quest Ez Spring Dive Fin Straps

I decided to try out a set of split fins after reading all the hype. I chose the Velocity XPs because the rails were large and stiff. I usually use Rocket fins and like a stiff fin. My overall impression is thumbs up, these fins are comfortable and you can really cruise in them. The only negative I could really find was if you cant get a full fin stroke the split fin doesnt work as well. But if you can get full fin movement they work quite well. Dont tow as well as rocket fins but you can swim faster in these. I recommend the Velocity XPs to anyone who would like to try split fins. I got the spring straps as well and really like them, theyre are comfortable and they make doning and removing your fins a cinch in or out of the water.
