Scuba 12.5 lbs Outback Roller Backpack Bag
Rating: Scuba-12.5-lbs-Outback-Roller-Backpack-Bag Fits two sets of boot fins in side compartments. 9/12/2009

Just bought this bag for a trip to Bonaire. It is roomy and the fin compartments fit two sets of boot fins including my heavy TwinJets. Holds enough equipment to easily get you over the airline limits, so be careful with loading. Rolls well. Handle is good. I like the back pack straps and the cover for the handle. Does not have a system for attaching another bag to it. The two front cover compartments are a little awkward shaped and not that useful. Good value, but not the prefect bag.

Scuba Stainless Steel Underwater Safety Shears
Rating: Scuba-Stainless-Steel-Underwater-Safety-Shears Rusted after 4 days of diving in Bonaire 9/12/2009

I am good about washing my equipment down after each dive. My daughter was using this one and I was using one from DiveRite. The DiveRite has over 40 salt water dives on it with just a hint of rust by the center screw. This one began to rust everywhere including the cutting edge by the 3rd day in Bonaire with only about 9 dives on it. I would stick with the DiveRite which was only slightly more expensive. Both are marked Stainless Steel, but the DiveRite seems to have some type of treatment on it.

Trident Fox 40 Whistle
Rating: Trident-Fox-40-Whistle There are better whistles. 9/12/2009

I have a hurricane whistle that is pea-less like this one, but much louder and clearer. This one is compact, but I will stick with the louder one.

Princeton Tec Impact XL L.E.D.
Rating: Princeton-Tec-Impact-XL-L.E.D. Back-up light so good it could be a primary. 9/12/2009

on a recent night dive, i turned off my 4-cell light and just used this as the 4-cell was so bright. nice white light bright good range and shape of light zone. i own two and use them for back-up on night dives and as an accessory light for day dives for looking in crevices.

Trident Glo-Toob
Rating: Trident-Glo-Toob More environmentally friendly than chemical light sticks 9/12/2009

Works great and in the long run will be cheaper. I have used two of them of 4 night dives and have not had to change the battery yet.
