Great Snorkel...Like I said in my previous review, youre in the WATER, there is no such thing as a dry or semi-dry snorkel...it still gets wet and you still get water in your mouth!!! Im writing this cuz my snorkel didnt make it into my bag at Catalina Island and I had to replace it, AND they also said I could win something. Was this review helpful? Yes No

I bought this mask with a purge which Im told was a mistake by almost everyone. Im told that a purge is for snorkling, but what the heck do I know. I DO know that I spent a lot of time purging my mask of water. I dont know if it the purge, or I have the wrong size mask. I have a large face and larger "dome". It may be a good mask, but the jury is still out for me...You need a "professional" to size your mask for you as the mask is one of the most important piece of scuba equipment youll buy. Again, I followed the recommendation of Scuba.com. Boot is comfortable and rugged. Climbing the rocks at Catalina proved to be sturdy without slipping. A cant miss for the first time diver !!! Was this review helpful? Yes No

I followed the Scuba.com recommendation and am pleased with the snorkle. It does what its supposed to do. Forget the "dry" or "semi-dry" hype, youre in the freakin water !!! Lets face it, if you dont do it right, you get a mouthful of water !!! Was this review helpful? Yes No 
Oceanic Viper Adjustable Strap Dive Fins

Good Fins but get replacement straps at the same time... 2/17/2009
Good Looking fins that do the work for you. Id would have given them 5 stars except I broke the straps on the 1st open water with them. I did manhandle them, but my expectation was that they could have taken the abuse...they didnt. The replacement strap I received didnt match, so it looks kind stupid. Was this review helpful? Yes No
