Scuba Gear Reviews by Karl Ulrich B.
Rating: very strechy... very good deal 7/26/2010
first of all: this is not a high end product, but i dont think it gets any better for this kind of price. i am very happy with it so far. the suit is stretches well and is relatively easy to get on and off (this was very important to me). stitching seems ok... but i dont own the suit long enough to see how long-lasting this is, or how effective the thin knee protectors are. but then, this suit only needs to last 3 seasons in order to be a great deal... as often mention in other reviews, the velcro tab for closing the back is a complete misconstruction (sticks way too easy to the inside of the suit). the protruding half of it is also flimsy, and ripped off during my first use... however, this made it actually more functional -). overall, i highly recommend this suit, especially for the budget oriented diver, as well as for divers who think a 5 mm suit would be handy even though they dont expect super-heavy use of it.
Oceanic Slimline 2 Octo
Rating: it IS slim 7/17/2010
nice streamlined octo. it does breath well (although not tested at any significant depth yet), but a little wet.
