I am a senior citizen who requires pool therapy to continue walking at all. I was unable to manage the pool sessions with water shoes from the discount stores or the sports stores- they would not stay on my feet and I got such blisters on the bottnm of my feet from the pool bottom. With these scuba socks, my friends at the pool are awed. These last longer, protect my feet better and are lighter to enable movement. Pool forneds comment on my "sexy scuba sox" all the time! Akona 3.5mm Low Top Soft Sole Boots.
Rating: Soft sole boots- great for pools 9/15/2008

i have had much difficulty with pool therapy thanks to the blisters that i receive on the bottoms of my feet. i tried socks, but wore through too many pairs- a costly endeavor. these soft sole boots were perfect! they stayed on my feet better than the department store water footwear, and lasted much longer- as i have a foot situation that causes foot drag. these are so well made, are not detroyed by chemicals in the pools, and are tighter fitting to offer security from tripping in the pool. thanks for a great product. i highly recommend them!
