JBL 38-Special Northwest Speargun
Rating: JBL-38-Special-Northwest-Speargun Great Gun for a great price. Recomend on all levels 9/11/2008

This is a sweet gun for a sweet price! I bought the gun for fishing in primarily coral and reef areas in Hawaii. The smaller size of the gun makes it extremely mobile. Not only is its mobility great for quick navigation amungst thick coral, but also if you do much traveling it makes it much easier to pack. I have used it about 4 or 5 times now, and havnt even needed to put the 3rd band on it for added power. I was really impressed with its power as well as how easy it was to load. For those who are worried about how hard it is to load, almost every gun on the market is going to take some muscle. Ive used guns that are much harder to loard than this one. All around I would recomend this gun. You cant beet the quality of JBL, the customer service of Scuba.com, and the price that you pay for this gun.

TUSA Splendive IV
Rating: TUSA-Splendive-IV TUSA Splendive IV is a GREAT MASK 9/11/2008

Ive taken this mask out about 6 times now, and have loved it. Just like all masks, one of the most important things is that it fits your face so that no water will seep in. After wearing the mask for over an hour, it really begins to put some pressure around your head. Because this is my first mask, I believe that this would be typical for most masks that are worn for an extended period of time. Ultimately, I would say that this is a super great mask. All my mates were envious when they saw it, plus Scuba.com sells it for half of the price that I would have paid for it at my local dive shop. Get one!

Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fin
Rating: Aeris-Velocity-Full-Foot-Fin Sizing runs HUGE 9/11/2008

I ended up returning these fins. I bought them right before I trip to Hawaii, and when I got them they were too big. I got a size smaller than my foot, but yet it was still too big. These fins are really wide. If you have slimmer feet, I would recomend going with a different fin.

Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel
Rating: Oceanic-Ultra-Dry-Snorkel Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel 9/11/2008

This is a great snorkel. Ive taken it out spear fishing about 4 or 5 times now. I wouldnt say that there is such thing as a snorkel that gets NO water in it, but this snorkel does a great job and if water get inot it, the easy clearing valve makes it super easy to get water out. I would definately recomend getting one of these.
