This hood is very warm, even in 50F water. The sizing is a little small so you may want to order a larger size than normal.

I have used this hood in 50F waters and it is very warm. The stretch from this material makes it very comfortable.

My wife and I have been using this camera in the Bay of Fundy. Visibility has been very limited this summer but we have managed to take some good photos. Definitely need a strobe to achieve optimum quality.
