I used this in the Galapagos the end of May, 2015. The suit worked great and kept me quite warm. The water temperatures varied and occasionally it would feel too warm but most of the time is was perfect. There were other snorkelers who did not wear any wetsuits and they complained of the cold or had to get out of the water sooner or more often.
I originally purchased a Henderson thermoprene full wetsuit for a trip to the Galalapos islands. After speaking with some recent visitors I decided to switch to a shorty wet jacket. After speaking to a scuba.com rep he was not sure I could get a full refund since I had purchased the first wetsuit 4 months earlier. They gave me a full refund. The Shorty wet suit worked great and was just what I needed. A few snorkeled without wetsuits in the colder open sea deep water trips but they could not stay out as long. The Henderson thermoprene suit dried really quickly and we were able to pack it up just 18 hours after the dive.
As I get older it becomes harder to check the pictures I take with my underwater camera. This mask with the bifocal lens allows to me see the pictures clearly. I would highly recommend this!
This Underwater set up is one of the best non SLR cameras Ive used. It takes a few shots to calibrate the flash. For snorkeling, it should be set at one of the lower settings. The pictures are outstanding.
