Scuba Gear Reviews by Gary AstleyRating:
Great light 8/17/2009
Wow, very bright and easy to use. The on-off switch is a lever located under the hub of the light. The light provider a white light that is focused. I have not used it at night, but it worked great to look in holes and crevices. I have mine attached to a lanyard and it fits in my bc pocket fine. For its size it is very bright and easy to turn off even with gloves. I beleive it would be fine as a primary light at night. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Aeris XR2 Air / Nitrox Computer Dive Watch
Rating:
Gary from Oklahoma 4/21/2008
This is the 1st dive computer I have ever owned, disclosing that I will say I will never dive without one again. The Aeris XR2 performed exelcent, the display was easy to read and buttons were easy to use. The XR2 is larger that I thought it would be and I must say that it is a little bulky, but I did not find that a problem when I was diving. When I purchased the XR2 I read the manual twice and played with the unit twice and felt very confident with it. I dove with the XR2 eight times and it preformed as expected every time. When I returned home I ordered the computer interface and uploaded my dives to my home computer, I would recomend the interface even though it is expensive. The XR2 is a very good dive computer for the price, the only reason I have for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is a little bulky. I would recommend this dive computer. Was this review helpful? Yes No
