Great power, they feel effortless. They get the job done even in fast moving current. Easy to get on, but be aware if you use thick soled boots. You will need to order a size larger than you would normally wear to accommodate the boot. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend these shears. They will cut through just about anything. You can cut through steel line and rope with just one hand( with a knife you need two hands) very important if you are tangled up! You can also permanently attach the sheath to your BCD. I am an public safety diver and i would not go into the water without them!

They say you get what you pay for. With this Pelican Sabrelite with the luminescent shroud, you get more. This is a great low cost backup light. Buy two, so you have an extra light for the dive buddy who forgets everything! The luminescent shroud is a plus, if your main goes out you can see this light glowing and grab it quickly. You cant go wrong with a Pelican.

One of my biggest concerns when diving is finding my way back to the anchor. This UW Nav DVD is very helpful in showing clearly how to use your compass (properly!) in navigating your way around the dive site. The quality is better than usual for a PADI DVD (no 80s synth or really bad editing). I recommend this DVD, it is an excellent resource to have around.
