Innovative Aqua Maraca Signaling Device
Rating: A MUST HAVE! 9/15/2008

My wife and I were on a dive in Grand Cayman when we heard this rattle from another diver. Great sound that travels well without being too obtrusive and much more distinctive than banging on an aluminum 80L. Very conveniant, fits right in the BC pocket. I tie mine to the zipper-pull so I dont have to worry about losing it. I bought one on the island (at twice the price!) and this one was for my wife because she loves how well mine works.

Seems a little pricey to me for 8X5 sheets of 3-punch paper, but I dont feel like cutting my own sheets to fit my log book. And an 8.5 X 11" log book would just be cumbersome... At any rate, they work just fine

Scuba Knife Strap
Rating: Works great! 9/15/2008

I bought a Big Squeeze Titanium from DeepSee but the straps that came with it have no clasp to hold them in place (just a rubber-to-rubber grip which doesnt hold well at all). These inexpensive, watchband-style straps work very well and adjust easily when I go from my 7/8mm suit down to my shorty.

Sealife Flash Diffuser
Rating: Ideal for Macro 8/12/2008

I love my Sealife DC600 and it has always impressed me with its wide-angle performance. But I was getting frustrated trying to take macro, as the flash would flood the image. The diffuser works PERFECTLY for keeping the burn of the flash off my subject while still providing diffuse light from the edges for a perfect exposure! If youre frustrated with your Sealife macro shots as well, this is a MUST HAVE!
