Dive Rite Drysuit Inflator Hose
Rating:
Makes attaching low pressure hose easy 12/25/2007
This is a handy product to have if you dive with thick gloves or if undoing your low pressure inflator hose is difficult when your hands are cold and wet. It was recommended by another instructor. Glad I got it. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Innovative Fin Strap (Pair) For Scubapro Twin Jet Fins
Rating:
No more struggling to put on or take off fins. 12/9/2007
If you use a dry suit or make beach dives during which you enter or exit through waves this is a great product. No more struggling to put on or take off fins, especially if you are in a hurry. Great innovation! Was this review helpful? Yes No
Zeagle Ranger LTD BC
Rating:
Great heavy duty BCD 12/3/2007
This is a very well made BCD with features that made it easy to use including weight bags that are easy to put into the zippered pockets, extra weight pockets in the rear of the BCD next to the tank and several rings to attach stuff. It is a long tested design, fits well and, most important, works well in the water. As with most SCUBA gear, you need to decide where and how you plan to use it. I spend most of the year diving with a heavy duty dry suit. The BCD, with its lift, is great for that. Because of its design and fit it should also be fine for the trips to the tropics. Like all divers I ask others about their gear. There are a lot of Zeagle Rangers on dive boats. All the divers I asked are pleased with the Ranger. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Zeagle Flathead VI/ZX Regulator
Rating:
Breathes easily at all depts 12/2/2007
I have used this requlator on multiple dives using a dry suit in fairly cold water. It breathes easily at all depths and I havent overbreathed it even in strenuous against current dives. The highest compliment you can give a regulator is that you dont think about it when diving. This regular meets that criteria. It has lived up to the reviews. Two notes for those not used to high performance regulators: (1) the second stage "honks" a bit when breathing out of the water. That goes away under water. 2) Make sure to adjust the free flow lever on the octopus second stage when doing giant strides off a high platform. If not you may get a surprise when you hit the water. Henderson Gold Core Drysuit Hood
Rating:
Easy to doff and don and warm 11/19/2007
I purchased the Henderson Gold Core drysuit hood as a replacement for a Bare drysuit hood. The Zipper on the Bare hood would come unzipped during the dive and my neck would get cold. I have used the Henderson Gold Core drysuit hood on a few dives and found it very easy to put on and take off. The neck portion is long enought to cover my entire neck. The hood keeps my head warm, even after multiple dives. I have been very pleased with the product and would recommend it to others. Was this review helpful? Yes No
