Scuba Gear Reviews by Angela B.

Rating: Hyperstretch Titanium Hood Not true to size for me 9/6/2007

I chose a small as the chart suggested for my height and weight as a woman. They do not go all the way down to between my fingers. Also, they are quite roomy width wise. These are definitely not correctly sized to fit a woman, our fingers just arent this fat.

XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch Heavy Duty Boots
Rating: XS-Scuba-7mm-Pyrostretch-Heavy-Duty-Boots AWESOME! 9/6/2007

I cant comment on how they wear in the ocean yet, but I wanted to comment on first impressions. I wear a womens 9, and these are quite true to size. I also have bunions and these are totally comfortable (I was concerned because of the toe box reinforcement.) They seem well made, are comfortable to walk in, and they are tight fitting all the way up the ankle. This is great because as a women I tried a couple of zipper boots that nearly cut off my circulation at the very top and were difficult to zip (men tend to have smaller ankles.) So far, im very happy with these.

XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch Heavy Duty Boots
Rating: XS-Scuba-7mm-Pyrostretch-Heavy-Duty-Boots I did not love the face stitching on the 7/5mm 9/6/2007

It seems everyone who has these loves them, but I will be returning mine tres vite! The stitching around the face is annoying to say the least, it is itchy. I need smooth neoprene at this edge. I am still looking for a good hood, I will probably try the XS next. I bought a small given the sizing chart. It seemed a little tight at the jaw, but if it were a size larger I could see it being too big. It was already not tight fitting at all at the neck. It does seem well made, and the bib lies flat (thats why ive given it two stars.)
