Rating: Cold water comfort 11/22/2008

We dive Monterey and Carmel bays a lot - staying warm is important. These gloves keep my hands warm but still allow enough flexibility to operate my camera equipment and dive gear. This is my second pair - the others were wearing on at the ends of the fingers after ~150 dives. Id recommend if youre looking to comfort and flexibility to try these gloves.

We dive Monterey and Carmel bays - this hood is great to keep the chill out. This is my second 7mm hood from Pinnacle - this one has the Merino lining that makes the hood a bit tighter but also less water exchange. If you want a well made hood and dive temperate water its a must have!

XS Scuba Z Duo M-Line Mask

The XS Scuba Z Duo M-line Mask is a great mask for men with a mustache - its always a great seal. The Q-strap is comfortable, easy to use, and keeps the mask adjustment (no slipping). I have use this type of mask for the past 150 dives and recently purchased another one just to have a spare.

XS Scuba Wheeled Mesh Backpack

This is a great bag for carrying your gear from the car to the boat. It is big enough to fit all your gear and have room to spare. It would be nice if it were taller - if your taller than 6ft its not comfortable to use it on the wheels.

Apollo Bio Neck Seal

we dive dry suits 90% of the time and the standard latex neck seals on our dui and mobby’s suits were leaving our necks irritated and raw. the bio neck seal is great it improves the neck seal so there are fewer leaks and it provides great comfort and protection from the latex. we have used the same set of seals for about 100 dives, and they show no sign of wear. great product!
