Innovative Aqua Maraca Signaling Device
Rating: Innovative-Aqua-Maraca-Signaling-Device Its OK... 8/27/2007

I bought this for my son when he was doing his first diving with me over this summer. I wanted him to be able to get my attention. I found that if he was more than a few feet from me it was easy not to notice the sound. Because it was clipped to his BC it was tossed around enough that when he was nearby I would hear it as it rattled around. Once you get used to it you can tell the difference between rattling around on your buddys BC and someone deliberately shaking it to attract your attention.

Sealife Reefmaster Mini 6.0 Megapixel Digital Camera
Rating: Sealife-Reefmaster-Mini-6.0-Megapixel-Digital-Camera A good camera... 8/27/2007

As other reviewers have said, if you are looking for a camera that will work really nicely above and below water, this isnt the best choice. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a simple point and shoot camera that also takes good quality daylight pics on land then this is it. I feel like I definitely got my moneys worth. The video feature is crude, you wont be sending video to National Geographic, but it will impress your non-diving friends. It was weird going over the side with a camera that has no housing, but after diving eight times with it, so far so good. I would recommend buying extra "O"rings since its the only thing between the electronics and the water, its worth replacing often. Knowing what I know now, Id buy it again.

Mares M2 RGBM Air/Nitrox Computer
Rating: Mares-M2-RGBM-Air-Nitrox-Computer Good bang for the buck 8/27/2007

This is the first computer that I have bought and I like it. Taking my son on his first salt H2O dive I wanted the security and precision of a computer. It worked well and I appreciated having the audible ascent alarm. Looking for the negatives the only thing I can point to is that you have to press on the buttons VERY hard to view data and change modes (although you shouldnt need to use the buttons underwater). I also found the users manual left much to be desired in that it simply told you how to press the buttons to change modes. If your experienced with computers this probably wont bother you but I would have liked more detail.
