I bought this unit to replace a meshed backpack with no wheels. From the weight of the gear, my old pack has begun to separate at the bottom seam and the weight was substantial when picking it up as a backpack. With this unit having the wheels, I should not have this problem with the new pack. I was able to throw my fins, regulator bag, weights, snorkel, mask, and BCD into the bag with no problems and pull on the ground. No question my back will alot better lugging through the airport.

this is my first dive computer and with relatively little experience, i did not want to spend a great deal of money. this unit had a great price, was nitrox capable, and pc downloadable dive log i thought alot of value for the money! i have not actually used yet it yet, but went through the manual to set/verify the settings. i did not find the use of the computer intuitive and the manual did not indicate that the buttons had to be held down to actually change the values. in other words , the manual would say press the button twice when you really had to press the button twice and hold and then use the other button on the unit to change the value. once i figured this out, i was able to set the appropriate values, temperature in f or c., time, depth in meters or feet, etc. however, i didnt like the feel of the buttons. i felt like you really had to push the buttons hard to get to the next function. i found the unit to be fairly easy to read during the day or with the backlight feature for night reading. the unit feels substantial on your wrist and solid. i like the fact that is uses double aa batteries. overall, i am happy with this unit and im looking forward to use it this upcoming trip in november to grand caymen.
