This dry traveler carrier works best for cell phones/ PDAs without flip cover, and for which all the commands / keyboards are on one face of the instrument so that can be seen and operated through the convenient clear window. Make sure you verify that you cell/PDA fits the carrier. My Treo 650 fits barely, but once in the carrier, it can be conveniently used (I was hapy that the sound carried through when the speaker function was on). Even though I have not tested (voluntarily or involuntarily) the ability of carrier to keep its contents dry, the design appears to be solid. I can see a generation of boaters, surfers, swimmers, and snokelers frenzily texting and e-mailing on or underwater. Imagine, you can surf the waves and the web at the same time.

Trident Fox 40 Whistle
Rating: Needs some getting used to for optimal use 7/4/2007

The strength of the sound produced by this whistle varies quite much depending on how strongly you blow on it and on where you place your lips. Once you figure it out, it works fine. May be a problem in emergency situations when some one who is not familiar with it is using it.
