Rating: Very nice BC knife 6/24/2007

This dive knife was a investment for my brother when he got done with his dive certification and he likes it a lot. I like the rubberized handle that it has and it is just the right length that it doesnt get in the way of anything. He used the Velcro straps that come with it and mounted it on one of his shoulder straps of his BC for easy access. I may actually get one for myself if I loose the one that I have now.

Aeris Scuba BC Accessory Kit
Rating: Great Kit for the New Diver 6/24/2007

i found the bc accessory kit to be just what i needed since i am a new to diving and had purchased a new aeris bc recently. the knife is a no thrills knife that is very sharp and mounts right to the grommets that are on the front left side of the bc (if you are wearing it) and it is pretty sturdy sitting there. i was afraid that it would get caught on something, but it hasnt as of yet after about 10 dives. the two retractors that come in the kit are the perfect size, i only really need one so i gave the smaller one to my wife to put on her bc and they seem to do their job well. the amount of tension handles the heavy gauges without a problem. the mess bag, well it’s a mesh bag that you could carry extra stuff down with, i know i use mine to my mask in when i am shore diving and i have the bag clipped to my bc. i have prescription lenses, so i dont want to have my mask floating away or something happen to it. the flashlight is good since it isnt too heavy and does help illuminate the darker areas underwater and beneath/between rock formations when you wish the sun was penetrating the water just a little more.
