Bonica Snapper DV Dive 5 Mega-Pixel Digital Video with Underwater Housing
Rating:
Bonica Snapper 7/20/2007
Used the camera the first time on a trip to Belize. It is very easy to use but I had trouble shutting it off under water, consequently I have a lot of video of the camera going every which way when I wasnt filming. Found out I need a red filter to get good pictures underwater. The company rep told me they will have one ready for the camera around Sept 07. The video picked up noises of the camera working. Very annoying scratching sound is noticeable when playing back the video. Was told to send it in for a replacement that fixes this problem. Well see what happens next time out. Overall I think the camera is a good deal for the price. Long battery life and 90 minutes of video with a 1G SD disk. The camera is very positively bouyant so needed extra weight to compensate. Im not sorry I bought it, but I have to improve my picture taking skills, I moved it too fast. Was this review helpful? Yes No
UNDERWATER KINETICS DIVE BEACON

Night Dive Marker 6/4/2007
This marker worked great keeping me visible for the divers in my group on my last night dive. It is easier to see than the chemical markers. The of my dive companions commented on how much they appreciated being able to find me to during the dive. Each of them wanted to know where I got it. When I got home I ordered two more to have in my gear back to provide to my dive buddies on future night dives. I highly recommend this item to others. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Princeton Tec TEC 40 HALOGEN LIGHT
Rating:
Excellent backup light. 6/4/2007
This light is very convienent to slip into the pocket of my bc for daytime use and a backup for night dives. During a night dive in San Carlos over the weekend of 18-21 May my buddies primary light gave out. We continued the dive with him using my TEC 40. He ordered one when we returned home. It provides a good bright light for such a small package. Was this review helpful? Yes No
XS SCUBA FOLDING WETSUIT TRAVEL HANGER

Gear Hangers 6/4/2007
This is a great addition to the items stored in my gear bag. Its nice to have a means to hang the wet suit after the days dives are complete so it will be dry and ready for using the next day. Was this review helpful? Yes No
HENDERSON 17OZ SUPERIOR POLYOLEFIN JUMPSUIT
Rating:
Made my day 4/12/2007
I used the jumpsuit as a liner to a 7mm wet suit on a recent dive trip to Catalina. My group made one night dive and six day dives. I was surprised at how comfortable my dives were in the 54-57 degree water. (The others in my group wore dry suits) I highly recommend this suit/liner for anyone that dives in what I consider cold water. Was this review helpful? Yes No
