XS SCUBA FUSION 3-WINDOW MASK
Rating: XS-SCUBA-FUSION-3-WINDOW-MASK Fusion Mask 1/6/2007

I bought two of these masks. One did not have a good seal around the window area and leaked so it was not usable. The other mask worked very well but I noticed a crack in the nose piece and I dont know how it developed (this didnt cause a leak however). Other than that, the masks were much more comfortable to wear than others, they provided very good views underwater and I especially loved the purge feature of the mask which I found to be a great asset if water found its way into the mask. Overall, these masks are great if they are not leaking. (They are supposed to repair or replace mine so I am sure it was a fluke that they were having problems).

AERIS VELOCITY FULL FOOT FIN
Rating: AERIS-VELOCITY-FULL-FOOT-FIN Comfortable fins 1/6/2007

I would say these fins are very good. I spent many hours in the water with these on over my vacation and I had only an extremely slight tender area on the back of one heel for one day. Other than that they were very comfortable and they seemed to work very efficiently and propelled me through the water quickly. They also seemed to be pretty maneuverable. I dont have a ton of experience with fins but these are much better than the ones I have used before.

OCEANIC ULTRA DRY SNORKEL
Rating: OCEANIC-ULTRA-DRY-SNORKEL Ultradry snorkel 1/6/2007

This snorkel overall was pretty great. I have used standard snorkels before that you have to blow out all the water when you surface but this rarely had any water to blow out. You could dive underwater and resurface without having to blow forcefully most of the time. When waves would come in it would shut off too, preventing an unexpected lungfull of water. Occasionally, some water would find its way in but it was very easy to blow out. I would say when diving underwater 98 percent of the time there was no water in the snorkel at all. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be to make the shut off valve area a little more heavy duty since it seems to be very thin plastic in places that might break easily. The snorkel was very comfortable to wear and to have in your mouth for long periods of time.
