Promate Large Writing Slate
Rating:
A good large slate 3/18/2007
Ive only used this slate for a couple of dives, but it performs well...the pencil is solidly attached, writes clearly, erases easily...the pencil swelled up when immersed in water, which was no surprise once I thought about it, and hasnt affected its function...the snap attachment seems robust, and works easily, though may be a little small for those wearing thick gloves...you may find, as I have, that the large size slate has more surface area than you need...still it isnt bulky or awkward, and is probably just right for teachers, dive guides, frustrated talkers or others with a need to communicate more or more precise info while underwater. Neosport by Henderson 2mm Amara Gloves
Rating:
Good gloves 3/18/2007
I find I dont use gloves as much as I thought I would, but these are good ones, combining solid construction with a pretty good sense of touch. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Max. Divers Whistle
Rating:
A solid piece of stand-by emergency equipment 3/18/2007
I recently had occasion to use the whistle on a dive and found it fit the bill perfectly...its plenty loud, highly visible and practically unbreakable. The clip is robust, but I didnt trust it alone to keep the whistle in place...so I put a loop of parachute cord through the lanyard hole and its tied to my BCD, too. Was this review helpful? Yes No
