HENDERSON GOLD CORE DRYSUIT HOOD
Rating: Without a doubt, one of the best hoods out there 12/9/2006

As the reviews for this hood indicate, this is an excellent product. I was a little worried my head would be cold on a two-tank dive in 42 degree water, but it was not. The flow control option on the top of the hood worked very well, and I was surprised how comfortable and loose the hood was and still kept my head warm and comforable. A few caveats, though: 1 - Be sure to order the next size up if you are in doubt. 2 - The neoprene around the jaw area was annoying and covered my mouth. My dive partner had the same issue with the same hood. We cut the neoprene around the jaw area with scissors to our liking and it worked and made the hood much more comfortable.

HENDERSON INSTA DRY GLOVES
Rating: Excellent Gloves 12/9/2006

These are very comfortable gloves and dry quickly as advertised. Be sure to order larger size if you are in doubt. On a recent dive of 50 minutes in 42 degree water, my hands were cold, whereas my diver partner with the same gloves, did not experience cold hands. So, your mileage may vary with these gloves, but I think my hands would have been cold no matter which 5mm pair of gloves I had on. I would definately buy these gloves again if I had it to do over.
