the flashlink works good unless you knock it out of allignment with the flash on the camera while taking it out of the camera case which is what I have done twice now not knowing it till the flash does not go off on the first picture so I have got into a habit of checking this after I enter the water. I bought this camera right before a cruise and do not regret it at all, it took great pictures the only bad thing I have to say about it is the battery does not last long at all (I could only get less than 115 shots per charge) and wish Id had a second battery for the cruise so I could have switch battery between dives.
