SHERWOOD 80 Cubic Foot Aluminum Compact Neutral Tank
Rating:
Neutrally buoyant tanks 11/5/2006
I love these tanks, no longer do you have to add three or four pounds to your weight belt in anticipation of the end of the dive. Many older divers I have talked to are set in their ways and think that this is only a gimmick to sell tanks, its not a gimmick try one for yourself, highly recommended. Was this review helpful? IST DOUBLE HOSE RETAINER CLIP
Rating:
The hose retainer clip does its job. 10/14/2006
The retainer clips work fine, we use them to hold our Suunto Vyper computers, removing the console and reclipping back underwater as youre swimming is no problem. I have not tried a retractor so I cannot say which would be best. For the price its an easy solution to keeping your equipment from dangling and causing damage to your computer or whatever hose end items you need to clip. Currently I see no reason for the second half of the clip but it is convenient and I could not find any that were only single hose retainer clips. Was this review helpful? Yes No
AQUATEC SCUB-ALERT SURFACE AND UNDERWATER AIR HORN
Rating:
How bad do you want to be heard? 10/14/2006
Overall I am happy with our Scub-Alert air horns. Underwater the Scub-Alert works well and does get the attention of the people around you with a "quack" sound, however, on the surface it is not as loud as I expected, in the ocean with all of the ambient noise I would not expect it to be heard past a hundred feet if even that far (my wife disagrees and says fifty feet if even). If you are looking for a Scub-Alert of this type I would recommend finding one with a loud shrill or a sound that is more likely to be heard as a distress sound and travels further. OMS ZIPPER PULL BALLS (8)
Rating:
Small zipper pulls 10/14/2006
Totally happy with the zipper pull balls I ordered, at first I could not decide between the large and small pulls but finally decided on the small. To my surprise the smalls were slightly larger than expected, approximately 1" in diameter, turns out they were perfect size to be used on my wifes Zeagle Zena BC. If your BC has no zipper pulls on the pockets I highly recommend them and for the quantity/price its well worth it. Was this review helpful? Yes No
