Scuba Gear Reviews by Courtney Capriotti

I bought 2 of these bags for a 2 week trip in Fiji and they where awsome. It held all of our clothes, my Pinnacle Mesh Bag plus my fins, BCD, 3mm full wetsuit, hood, gloves, lights for night dives, and all my dive trinkets. This is not a bag for a dive boat as you dont really want to get it wet. It is a travel bag that you would carry all your gear and clothes in, and then move your dive gear to a second bag for the boat. I packed my Pinnacle Mesh Bag at the bottom and started stacking away. It rolls nicely and is pretty easy to deal with. Be careful though, as you can pack a lot of stuff in it and it will get heavy.

I have had a lot of dive bags and there is nothing worse than a mesh bag the catches on everything. The Pinnacle bag has a much thicker mesh pertion of the bag so it doesnt catch and keeps its structure well when you are looking through it to find that little defog bottle. It opens wide, holding all of my gear! Yes, it holds all of my gear!!

I have dove both in California and Maui with this light and it is perfect to enjoy the true colors of the reef and find those lobsters. A great buy and perfect for travel.

A good card that has never given me any issues. It also comes with a cool carry case that can hold two cards. Simply a good deal.
Sealife Moisture Muncher

Simple and a must for cameras and flashes. To understand why these little guys are so important is to understand the temperature of the camera or the external flash. As the flash and camera heat up while you are diving, it creates some serious condensation that can destroy you investment. The solution, Moisture Muncher.

The quality photos developed both underwater and above are exceptional. I have done over 50 dives with the Pro Set (external flash & wide angle lense) and have 100s of great photos to relive the moments. The camera itself is simple and the multiple settings allow the camera to be highly effective in dark waters and even shallow waters snorkling. The sea mode is great for normal shots and the shark mode is a blast when you want to take 5 to 10 shots in a couple of seconds. The best though, is the video capabilities. Press the button and video a reef shark or a cool fish. I recommend a 1GB chip though as it is easy to take a bunch of photos and video.
