Glad I added this to my camera. Works nicely underwater when you need to change the lens and helps keep it safe from rocks and sand. Must buy for your setup.

SEALIFE WIDE ANGLE LENS
Rating: Wider the better 10/12/2006

I bought this along with my dc500, I am glad I did it has in my opinion given me a better range of pictures. Especially for the price it beats the competitors prices and in my opion is just as good. The only draw back is a shadow in the upper right corner but all you have to do is adjuste the wide and telephot lense and it goes away. Thumbs up

SEALIFE DC500 5.0 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA PRO KIT

..ok how can a camera save your dive? George here at Scuba.com bent over backwards to insure that I had a camera for my trip to see my see in Del Mar, glad he did now i have proof that I had three sharks circling me and it didnt end up in the sure it happened stories, but other than that I have used cameras my whole life including ones for work (real estate appraising) and this one is just as good as many of the cameras I have used in the past. This is a great by especially with the price of the add ons being so reasonable compared to other brands. A thumbs up from me just take the time to learn the cmaera before you hit the water if I had I would have ended up with a better picture of my sharks however that was my own fault not that of the cameras....ok so I was in shock alittle from staring down three sharks for my first time but who wouldnt be.... Ok the only downfall is the battery time. Good for about 100 pictures or so. They could have made a longer lasting battery wish mine had come with a backup...
