I debated on this, as I had heard these could promote mold growth. But, then I thought about it and realized it was nonsense. Just keep it dry and clean when storing. As for the functionality, it is very nice. My octo is more secure with this holder than the previous holder. And, of course, the high vis doesnt hurt either.

If you dont already have one, you should. Its a great way to protect your investment. I use mine with the hose attached and just zip around it. Keeps out trash and protects the computer.

Diving in Texas doesnt usually require a lot of thermal protection so, the Mares 3mm Low Top Soft Sole Boots are just right. Comfortable, functional and, so far, durable. If you like low top boots, I would recommend this one.

I just received this BC and dove it today. I absolutely recommend this BC. By far, the best I have used. (FYI, I highly recommend scuba.com also. I have had nothing but good experience with them.)
