XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch 2 Piece Combo Wetsuit
Rating: Suits me fine 10/13/2006
I visited 7 local dive shops and tried on suits from as many vendors before ordering the XS Scuba 7mm Farmer Johns from Scuba.com. Many of the suites I tried on fit poorly, often too tight in the chest or two loose in the arms. I contacted Scuba.com purchased the XS Scuba suit without trying it on. According to the sizing chart, I was right in the middle of the XL size range. My sales consultant let me know I could return the suit if it did not fit. The fit was perfect. For a sub $200 price, the suite allows for an amazing freedom of movement. The pyrostreach panels are placed well and help the suit move. The suit is well made and should last for several years. I have used this suite on several dives, including the wreck of the Madeira and the Hesper in Lake Superior and several trips below the thermocline in Minnesota lakes where water temperatures often approach 40 degrees. This suit, along with the corresponding hood, gloves, and boots, has kept me comfortable. Im looking at picking up the XS Scuba 2mm shorty for warm water.
XS Scuba Standard Mesh Duffel Bag
Rating: Great duffel for the price 09/29/2006
I appreciate the basic styling and the price. XS Scuba constructed the duffel from sturdy materials. I expect the bag to hold up for many years. The only thing I would do is to add is a double zipper. I have become used to having two tabs that close to the middle. I always seem to be trying to find the end with the tab! If you are looking for an inexpensive mesh duffel, you wont be disappointed by this bag.
