initially i bought this for my girlfriend because she is more form over function (pink is her favorite color). however, i gave them a try in the pool and they perform very similar to the avanti excels that i use. what i dont like about them, which is only puerly a personal taste matter, is they are a little positivea bouyant (just a little) which is annoying for surface swimming. under the water though, they are only excelled by a couple split fins i have tried

HENDERSON GOLD CORE MASK STRAP
Rating: functions as promised, needs extra rinsing after use though 9/19/2006

Bought this for my girlfriend because her long hair made it a hassle for put the masks straps around her head. The henderson mask strap made donning her mask much easier especially in the water. the only down side is that being neoprop. you really need to rinse it off good after before storage or it will get stinky.
