I bought this suit for my ever-growing 10 year old diving son. This is an excellent suit for a youth diving in the Great Lakes from late spring to early fall. The only thing I dont like is that the hood is more like that of a jacket than a diving suit. It has a velcro closure strap around the front of the neck but leaves the lower face, chin and upper throat exposed. The suit is relatively inexpensive, compared to others, which if perfect if you have a growing child.

The zippered ankle cuffs are perfect for a youth who may not have the dexterity, or desire, to fight their way into a thick wetsuit. The suit is relatively inexpensive, compared to others, which if perfect if you have a growing child.

I bought this bag for my 10 year old sons gear. It is an excellent gear bag. It is huge and very durable. With the bag fully loaded, the should strap is probably the most comfortable one Ive ever used.

Rating: INNOVATIVE PLASTIC BELT BUCKLE 9/22/2006

The buckle works well and Ive had no problems. However, it does not give you that "pop" sound that lets you know it is securely closed. This is more of a personal preference for peace of mind than anything else. I keep a couple in my save a dive kit.

This is an excellent hood for diving in the Great Lakes from late spring to early fall. Despite the tickness it is very comfortable and flexible. The hood vents trapped air through to exits in the top and the zipper is very easy for one person manipulate. The hood only leaves a very minimal area of the face exposed and has smooths seals around the face and neck. There is very little water exchange. I have been diving for 14 years and have owned 3 other hoods. This is the best one so far and was the least expensive.

This is an excellent wetsuit for the price. It is very comfortable and flexible for the thickness. The wrist and ankle seals keep water exchange to a minimum. The suit is perfect for late spring to early fall diving in the Great Lakes and St Lawrence River areas. The only things I would be to add would be a spine pad, elbow pads and larger knee pads. Overall, this is a great suit for under $200.00
