I had been using a full body suit, and it was a struggle to get it on quickly. I switched to the shorty, and it made all the difference. This model is flexible, has a smooth feel, and dries fairly quickly. I tend to be cold-natured, but the 3mil has kept me warm during each of my dives (all warm water).

INNOVATIVE AQUA MARACA SIGNALING DEVICE

i wasnt comfortable banging on my tank, so purchased this. i hang it on the front of my vest its easily accessible, and it catches the attention of your dive buddy very well. its light and easy to use, id definitely recommend it.

TRIDENT FOX 40 WHISTLE
Rating: good to take along 9/20/2006

So far Ive not had to use this, but its good to have it available. My only negative comment is that it doesnt whistle as loud as I would like it to.

OCEANIC REEFSPORT SNORKELING VEST
Rating: easy to pack 9/20/2006

Im not a strong swimmer, so I prefer to wear a safety vest when snorkeling in deep water. This vest is excellent to take on trips! Takes almost no room in your suitcase & is easy to inflate. Also has a strap to slip between your legs that attaches to the waist, which helps keep the vest from riding up your neck.

HENDERSON WARM WATER GLOVES
Rating: be careful when choosing size 9/20/2006

i normally wear a size 2 or 4 in womens clothes, and have been buying the smallest size in all my diving equipment. so i ordered the xsmall gloves & i could barely get them on my hand. so i ordered the next size (small), and again they were much too small. its not the tight fit on the fingers that you have to avoid, its the awkward pull on the thumb. if the gloves are too small, theyre very uncomfortable in that area, and the elastic on the gloves hits very low on the wrist again, it was uncomfortable. the medium worked great!
