We dive primarily inland lakes so below the thermalcline it can get quite cold. 7mm neo sometimes just isnt enough. So when I was looking to replace my old gloves for something a bit warmer, I really had my doubts about these, only being 4mm. But what a surprise! They kept our hands nice and toasty at 56 degrees, even warmer than the GoldCore 7mm that I have - perhaps in part due to the Merino lining. And another HUGE plus was the added dexterity since it was so much thinner! Fantastic cold water gloves!!!
Very warm and great fitting johns. Easy to get on and off. Very good quality.
Very warm and easy to get on and off. Very well made and fit is perfect.
Perfect fit, very warm - even in 45 deg. water - and the hard soles are true hard soles, though still comfortable to walk in. Very easy to get in and out of and the zippers stay in place even with excessive activity. Love them!
Very stretchy for a perfect fit. Keeps you warm in temperate waters with no added buoyancy.
this keeper would be best suited for octos with a small mouthpiece as standard larger ones are difficult to and have a tendency to cause the octo to free flow.
Well made and works great
Well made and works perfect.
Although I love the length of the cable and it works well with no hang-ups, the spring tension on this retractor is very light, not suitable for computers or guages. Use with signal devices or other light accessories is about its limit.
These hangers work perfectly for any BC and are strong enough to hold not only a fully loaded BC but a set of regs as well.
This suit is perhaps the best suit I own and definitely the warmest. At a full 7 mills throughout the entire suit, you might expect it to be fairly stiff and comfining. NOT AT ALL! Its Super-Stretch construction moves as freely as most standard 2-3 mil suits, and stretches with little effort in almost any direction allowing for fantastic flexability. All this and still insulates like any traditional 7 mil neoprene suit. A definite Best Buy
This semi-dry suit is very comfortable and well made. Warm and easy entry with great wrist, neck and ankle seals. It is a traditional neo-based suit so, at 6.5 mils, it is a bit stiffer than some others on the market now, but a great suit nevertheless.
One of the highest quality dive knives Ive owned - very sharp right out of the box. Solid construction with a high quality sheathe and quick release, quick adjust straps for easy on and off. Blade lock is easy to use, even wearing heavy gloves and a secondary lock helps prevent accidental loss.
Outstanding warmth, snug fit and the gold core lining not only helps getting them on and off, but also seems to make them even warmer. Extra length along with the velcro wrist wraps really help keep the cold out.
Great fit, warm and comfortable although the medium sole on this boot seems more like a soft sole. Good height, and zipper makes for easy entry and exit. Zipper does have a tendency to work its way down from time to time.
Once again Dacor has built an outstanding product. Very tough, solid construction, well built and practial design. The only minor complaint is that it could use an adjustable venturi. Breathing is, at first, a bit forced, but you do get used to it.
Dacor has to be one of the best scuba equipment manufacturers around. And this BC is no exception. Sturdy construction and lots of features make it a great buy as well. This one has several D rings and clip points for all your accessories. Large, deep pockets and super sized integrated weight pockets are easy to access. This model even has an integrated lumbar support that give that extra measure of comfort.
Sturdy and well thought out. Everything is in just the right place and the fit is excellent. Large pockets and several D rings as well as a couple of standard clips make this BC "divable" right out of the box. The dumpable weight pockets are large and easy to re-install.
These are very warm and comfortable. The zipper makes for easy entry and exit and the Gold Core lining not only helps lock in warmth but helps slip the boot on easier, especially when wet. My only complaint is that these were the 7 mil boots...meant for cold or very cold water, and yet they are suprisingly short. Henderson needs to add at least 2 inches to the boot height. If you buy these boots, make sure you have a suit that is COMFORTABLY ankle long, or even longer.
Overall these are comfortable and warm. The only drawback is the zippers tend to slip down. In 50 degree water this is not a good thing.
This is a very solid light, built well to take some abuse. The LED light is fairly bright, although the 2nd stage is a bit under-powered. One cannot tell much difference between the low and high settings. What this light lacks in brightness, it makes up for in battery life, though, lasting me more that twice the time of a conventional bulb light.
