Scuba Gear Reviews by Steve Carlisle
Suprema 44 L.E.D Light
Rating:
Decent light, great focusing aid 9/17/2007
Not perfect for a primary light (theres brighter lights available), but I use this as a focusing aid, attached to my camera rig. The attachment is very well constructed, the brightness just right, really helps my autofocus. Was this review helpful? Yes No
Aeris Atmos AI Air/Nitrox Dive Computer
Rating:
Aeris AI Computer 8/23/2006
this is a great piece of equipment for those who want to simplify their set-up and can afford to do so. it is very easy to use the location and size of the readout just seems to make sense, the buttons and menu sequence are logical, and the size and configuration of the instrument are close to perfect. I read the instructions, but one read is all thats needed. Set a couple of pre-sets, and youre good to go (it does help to have a good understanding of dive physiology!) all you have to remember is to set the o2 percentage before the dive. bad things? not many. it is expensive but it is several instruments in one. it also seems somewhat flimsy (especially the slide out ring for bc connection) but it hasnt broken yet. other than that, once you get over the cash outlay, you will be happy...
