Different Types of Scuba Diving Gloves

	Cold Water Scuba Diving Gloves These Gloves are designed for the rigors of SCUBA diving in water 35 to 70 Degrees. They are rugged and warm and range in thickness from 3 to 7 MM. The thicker they are, the warmer they are. These gloves quite often have a lining on the palm that serves to protect your hands and the material itself. These gloves will keep your fingers and hands safe and warm in cooler water and over multiple dives in a short period of time.
	Warm Water Scuba Diving Gloves These gloves are designed for SCUBA diving in water 70 to 85+ degrees. They are rugged and thin (Maximum 2MM thick). The palms are usually reinforced with Amara (synthetic Suede) or a rubberized liner for grip and durability.
	Surf/Swim Gloves These are gloves that are designed for speed and/or grip. Swim models are usually webbed between the fingers for increased forward speed and resistance for training. They are usually fairly thin for increased dexterity and comfort. Surf gloves come in wide array of thicknesses from warm to cold water climates. They usually have a palm with thick rubber gripping areas to help with paddling and popping upright on the board. Several models also have webbed fingers for increased speed to catch faster moving waves and mushier breaks. They are also good for training. See less ▴
