Dive, Surf, and Swim Gloves

Whether Diving, Surfing, or Swimming, your hands are extremely important. Keep them warm, keep them protected, and keep them useful with a pair of gloves. Available in thicknesses from 1 millimeter all the way up to 7 millimeters, with or without webbing, with or without full fingers, you'll always be able to find a pair of gloves that's perfect for whatever water activity you have in mind.

Cold Water Diving Gloves
Cold Water Scuba Diving Gloves

Your hands and fingers are thinner than the rest of your body, and are the first parts to get cold in a frigid environment. Add to that just how important your hands and fingers are, and how vital they are to swimming, checking diving equipment, holding equipment and making gear adjustments, and you'll find that cold water gloves are a necessity in certain environments. Rugged, thick, and warm, cold water gloves are best for temperatures of 35 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (or 1 to 21 degrees Celsius).

Designed with tougher, water-resistant seams and warmer interior liners, cold water diving gloves provide warmth, comfort, and grip in even the iciest of waters.

Warm Water Diving Gloves
Warm Water Scuba Diving Gloves

Warm Water Diving Gloves protect you from the chill in waters from 70 to over 85 degree Fahrenheit (or 21 to 30+ Celsius), and have textured, durable palms to protect your hand and ensure your grip. At or under 2 millimeters thick, these neoprene and Lycra gloves allow for maximum dexterity and motion. These warm water diving gloves are constructed from a variety of materials, like synthetic suede, vinyl, and even Kevlar, meaning you'll stay protected from cuts and abrasions as well as staying warm. Stay in the water longer with warm water diving gloves.

Surf Glove
Surf and Swim Gloves

Surf gloves are available in a range of thicknesses, not unlike the cold and warm water gloves above, and are designed for a variety of climates. They are also distinguished by their palms, which are thicker and covered with synthetic suede or thick rubber to create maximum friction between your hands and your sometimes slippery board. They can also come with webbing between the fingers, if desired, for increasing speed and aiding in muscle tone as you swim. Webbed fingers are great for catching fast-moving waves and mushy breaks. Surf gloves can also come with full fingers or 3/4 fingers, depending on the model, which is great for keeping touch sensitivity.

Swim Gloves are often thinner than surf gloves, but come complete with webbing between the fingers. The webbing is great for building resistance, which can greatly increase speed with enough exercise and training. See less
