Great Bag! - I ordered this for my wifes B-day present, and didnt know I would be helping myself out as well. This bag is large enough for both our gear (warm-water) the fin pockets on the side do hold a pair of fins per pocket. the large front pocket has a padded case that fits inside of it for your regs (one set only), and inside this case is a place designed for your console, which is padded as well. if you need to use this pocket, thats fine because the case comes with its own shoulder strap, and is made of the same denier nylon as the bag. The mesh watter bottle pocket folds inside the bag, with the bottle still in the pocket! I also added the piggy back duffle, and am so glad I did, now we have... View Full Review

Scuba Mask, Fin & Snorkel Backpack Bag Reviews

Traveling snorkel gear bag - Like the fin bag. The bag was put in large suitcase and only fit corner to corner standing on its side, which makes it hard to pack around. The front mask pocket works better for accessories, which is very handy. The lower pocket is not very deep and the zipper access is hard to get to, the upper mask pocket is setting to close on top of it. The lower pocket works well for a large ziplock or water proof bag for things you dont want wet, but must have, passport, cash, etc. The mask pocket will fit a mask, but is to small for me. You must fold the sides of your mask in to fit. I have the average to long full foot fins and they fit well with room for my mask at the top. I even had... View Full Review

Akona Roller Backpack - i read all the reviews on scuba.com and in all the magazines i could find before making this purchase. they were all helpful. this bag has just about everything lots of space the pockets are spacious and well placed. im not sure why there is the bottle and pocket on the front i agree we should all stay hydrated, but i think removing the bottle and enlarging the existing pocket is more practical. i went to key largo from ca for a week of diving more than enough room for everything. one review i read said to watch out for all the space in being tempted to fill it, you could be in serious jeopardy of exceeding airline weight limits i found this to be true also. the wheels are... Sturdy, versatile mesh bag - i did not think i would need such a large bag, or one as sturdy, but it sure came in handy! the description did not state all of the ways you can carry this bag backpack style, duffle bag style, or the handle on the back at the opening. there is also an inside zippered pocket for putting in your snorkels, and a side zipper if using it duffle-style. the outside pouch will hold two mask cases with 2 inches of height to spare for additional small items. i was easily able to carry two sets of snorkels/masks/fins, two large beach towels, extra dry clothes, a beach bag, and a collapsible cooler. when ordering, i had to trust scuba.com, because i did not think the description provided was not... Akona Mesh Roller Backpack - I have 2 Akona Roller Mesh Backpack that I purchase from Scuba. com, One for my wife and one for me. First of all, the the service was great, I received the bags in a couple of days after placing the order with Scuba. Com. I own the Akona Mesh bag without wheels, all thought it too is an excellent bag, We were in Key West this summer, and had to walk at least 1/2 mile back to the hotel. The dive equipment was wet coming back form the trip and it was very heavy on my back!! Also, I had to carried my wifes equipment as well. The tempature around 90 degrees. "Tough work-out". My wife and myself went diving last week, use the Akona Roller Mesh Backpack, and pull the equipment back to the... View Full Review

ScubaPro Porter - Ok used this bag to go on a cruise and it was perfect! Tons and Tons of room and it will compact down into a large briefcase size for storage. Only thing is I wish there was straps on the inside to hold everything in place. This is a bag if you need to pack a lot of gear. With scuba gear everything will hold in place much better. The light weight is great and the construction is tough. The lighter weight comes from not having an telescoping handle. It does have a nice handle to pull it with nice sturdy wheels. Will be using it with dive gear in May when I head to Roatan.

The Better Fin Bag - We took one each of the Scubamax and the Mares Attack Freediving Fin Backpacks with us on a 6,000 mile trip. Both held up very well and survived boats, porters, and overhead carry-on racks with no damage to our gear. The differences: - The Mares bag is a little shorter and it was a tight fit to get in the Beauchat Mundials. - That second pouch on the front of the Scubamax bag seemed to get in the way a lot, and made stacking in the overhead bins more challenging. -

A perfect dive bag - I love this bag! When looking for a bag online an instructor at scuba.com suggested this bag instead of the one I had originally picked. I am very glad I got this one. It has enough room to hold all your dive gear. Its very, very durable and the front is made of very strong mesh. It has a large zipper pocket on the front and a dry pocket on the back for anything you dont want to get wet. There is a drawn string on the top but the side also has a zipper so you can fully open the side of the bag for easy access. The backpack straps and very durable and comfortable when having to walk a long distance. Lots of room and a overall excellent bag! Very happy with it.

Nice, roomy dive bag - I purchased 3 of these for each diver in our group for a recent trip to Maui. These bags are great! The opening of this bag is large enough that you can easily slip your BC into it with no effort, and there is plenty of room to store my dive gear (3mm wet suit, regulator, fins, mask, snorkel, booties), in addition to my underwater camera, towel and a water bottle. The side pouch is large enough to store all of my dive tools and spare parts. Its very rugged, and it has nice padded shoulder pads for packing all of this stuff from our car (which was usually several blocks away) to the boat. I really like this bag!

Meshy Mesh Bag - this bag holds all of my gear and generally works great. there were a few things i wasnt quite ready for. first, the handle and the top-to-bottom zipper are on opposite sides of the bag its a bit awkward. there is also a lot of mesh - i had anticipated more fabric to hold it together. its not a big deal, but you do have to be careful to not accidentally start a hole by roughly stuffing gear in or yanking it out. the back pocket is very deep, so dont think you are getting easy access to the items congregating on bottom. none of these are show stoppers. all in all, its a good bag for a good price.

Great bag - I love this bag. It has tons of storage space. In the main compartment I put a pair of Mares Volo Power fins, boots, my mask in a mask bag and snorkel and still had room for a beach towel! Also, loved the two zippered pockets. The bag is well made a rugged so I am confident it will last a long time. Other people in our group commented on the quality of the bag.

Great Product - This is a great mesh-sack backpack bag for snorkeling or diving. It is very well constructed and holds quite a bit of gear. The bag also has a web handle stitched on the side which is helpful to fill the bag and/or to carry the bag like a suitcase. The external pocket is a good size and great for storing accessories such as a camera, wallet, glasses, etc. you dont want to get wet. Overall a great product at a great price. It may be a bit more expensive than some of the other brands on the market but the ScubaPro name and quality is worth the few extra bucks down the road!

Scuba Deluxe Heavy-Duty Mesh Backpack Bag - The bag stood up to work on a boat very well. The zipper side did not open far enough to get out my fins and had to open the top. The front pocket Velcro would not stay closed and equipment fell out of the pocket. Maybe a zipper on the front pocket would be a good option.
