Superb for Night Dives - cracking one of these to start the glow and then tucking it under my mask guard has been a great aid for my buddy to find me while in the deep dark No need for blinding me with a bright torch (flashlight) very reassuring.

How did I live without these? - If youre THINKING about buying one, buy three! I really wish I hadnt waited so long to buy a few of these. Got different sizes for lights, camera, console. Theyre great for anything you like to have close at hand, but since you cant hold everything in your hands...there are these retractors!
And when youre done using whatever it is youre using? Just let go! (though I usually give the retractor clip a good tug, just to be safe).
Seriously, youll want more than one. And so will your buddy (my husband, who is jealous I didnt get him any!).

D8 Rechargeable Kit - A very good buy for someone concerned with thowing batteries out regularly.
I bought two D8s. One from a local shop that did not have the rechargeable pack and one from scuba.com that did. Both lights provide virtually the same output while diving, which I was surprised about based on the rechargeable product description. That said, Ive replaced the 8 D cell batteries on the light from the local dive shop twice and am considering purchasing another rechargable pack to save money.
If youre considering the recharge kit for saving money in the long haul or environmental purposes, go for it. If youre looking for output brightness, save your money up and buy a light cannon... View Full Review

Item for your Save-a-Dive Kit - We purchased this o-ring to have in our save-a-dive kit (we each have a UK light that this o-ring fits). We take good care of our lights which means cleaning and lubricating our o-rings. We purchased this o-ring replacement just to have in case we have problems with the one in our lights.

Mixed Feelings - Charger works fine, but a bit slow NMH batteries would work as well with faster charge rates and no memeory. Lots of life and power in the nickel cads, two long night dives and still going strong.
A bit over- priced, but very convenient to use. The larger spring in the base is much better than the original. Overall Im quite satisfied with the unit.

pocket retractor - ok i saw this pocket while in florida, a few years back and didnt purchase it then . ive regreted it ever since. it is a perfect way to store a back-up light and not worry about ping it. it retracts back into the pocket. attatchs to your bc easily. i just love it

D8 bulb - The bulbs were exactly what I needed unfortunately it took almost 3 weeks to recieve them. They shipped from less then 60 miles from my house and were here the day after Scuba.com notified me of the shipment. Why it took over 2 weeks to ship is beyond me. I could have walked to the warehouse in the time it took to ship.

Fantastic light solution - My Zeagle B. C. has small side pockets, so only the smallest lights were easily accessible. This retractible system with holster is the solution. We recently tried it for a two week dive trip to Roatan and my wife and I love its ease of use and great illumination. My wife would never use a light before as it was such a pain to get out and put back or was flopping around on a lanyard. This system solved the problem. Great product and highly recommended.
