Aqua Sphere Zip Fins Reviews

Aqua Sphere Zip Fins Reviews   Zip Fins

Reviewer: Donald A. Dutcher on 5/11/2009

Aqua Sphere Zip Fins - I bought these fins to enhance my pool workouts. I have had an Aqua Sphere seal xp mask for 3 years and its still like new so I looked at their product first. For me the open heel design is the only way to go. As I have said in other reviews straps are cheaper to replace then buying a new set of fins. The fins are quality made and the heel straps are really nice with the neoprene pad over the strap for comfort. As for performance the fins provided a good amount of thrust. Using the fins I shaved 2 minutes off of my 600 meter swim. The only negative comment I could make would be that they do not come in an XL. I wear a size 13 shoe and the fins only go up to size 12 so my big toe... View Full Review

Aqua Sphere Vortex V8 Hand Paddles Reviews

Great Buy & they Work - Hand paddles. Ive not seen a consistent name for this kind of product. I think of them as fins for the hands. My swimming workout seemed to be lacking something. SO I looked for an inexpensive "hand fins" so that I could experiment with them. These work extremely well and are well priced. I have 2 minor concerns: 1. The teenager deep inside me thinks they look dorky, like I put them together in my basement with sheets of plastic, surgical tubing and a hole punch. BUT THEY FUNCTION PERFECTLY!!! 2. I wonder whether, eventually, algae will start growing in the surgical tubing and gross people out. Im thinking probably not: I only use them in chemically treated swimming... View Full Review

Trident Canvas Surf Mat Reviews

Trident Canvas Surf Mat Reviews   Canvas Surf Mat

Reviewer: Thomas W. on 7/10/2008

Surf mat review - I loved the Trident Canvas Surf Mat. It worked well in small surf conditions (similar to the old George Greenough style surf mats). However, this mat developed a leak the second day of use and it has been difficult to repair. They are fun, but appear to not be very robust.

Aqua Sphere Dry Towel II - This towel is quickly absorbs water and is easy to wring out and dry. It also packs into a very small area leaving more room for other equipment. I will be ordering another soon for a gift. Tom Wakim

Finis Nose Clip Reviews

comparison of finis and cressi - I bought both the (clear plastic) Finis and the (flesh/metal) Cressi clips. Both worked pretty well for swimming in the pool. Aesthetically, I like the looks of the Finis. It did stay on a little better. Sealed my nose better. I kept trying to "open" the cressi a little bit, its quite tight, but then it slipped off.

CRESSI-SUB NOSE CLIP - Good tight fit, but has to be adjusted weekly to keep that fit.

Finis Ear Plug Reviews

Great Ear Plugs! - These ear plugs are so comfortable they feel like you dont have them in tight enough, but I have not had any problems with getting water in my ears when I swim laps.
