Let there be light.. - i picked up a couple of princeton tec miniwave eleds for my wife and i to take on a trip to cozumel last month. we did two night dives on our trip. one from the shore and the second from a boat. i also used the light on the interior portions of a wreck dive. the lights worked great. the leds provided plenty of light. most of the time we kept the lights on low power to conserve battery life and it was more than adequate for our needs. the high setting was very bright and it easily iliuminated a barracuda 50 ft. away in the clear water off of cozumel. the blue-white light provided very good color contrast. a couple of the other divers had older c8 lights that had a much dimmer,... MAJ OR G - I bought the UK Fathom 4 pack dive lights set about two months ago I got the xenon sun light instead of the led. The lights are very bright and very well made,The C8 has a great locking trigger so it wont turn on accidental in your dive bag not to great to get to your dive area and find out the batterys are toast,No guys and girls we dont keep batterys in the lights all the time.it is a bit heavy.now about the mini Q40 its a great light very bright for its size and works well on your mask for hands free operation are just for a back up light.now about the SL4 the amount of light it puts out on this unit is amazing for its size the light its self is all most worth what you would pay for the... Great light - This was the 3rd. light I bought, and is The best! I could have saved a ton of money if I just went with this light. As soon as you pick it up you can tell its just the right one. The way it feels in your hand, it fits like it was made just for you. If your looking for a good light go with this one.Dont do what I did and try something else, save your money and go with the Princeton Tec and you wont be sorry.

Great light pack for the money - Just ordered this pack about a month ago, and I wasnt dissapointed when it came. The small back up light fits great into my knighthawk pocket and is quite powerfull for the size. The large light (The Sun, as my buddy calls it) is worth how much the whole package is! Its plenty bright to light up the sometimes merky Monterey water I dive, and the snappy coil lanyard it comes with holds it perfectly. Havnt used the marker light yet but I like that it has a red bulb. All in all, probably one of my happiest buys yet

Ikelite PC Dive Lite Reviews

Best Flashlight On the Market - Ikelite PC Dive Lite is fantastic. It is compact and its lanyard marks it easy to use worry free. But by far, its best quality is how bright and illuminating it is. I often use it briefly in place of a regular flashlight and it blows away even Magnalights, the D battery size ones. For short trips to the neighbors on a wooded path, to work on the edge of the float and dock, this is the one to have. I have bought several to replace lights where working is essential. i even have given them as presents to people that have everything. Just dont use them for extended periods out of the water as they can overheat. But for usual needs, Ikelite lights are by far superior.

There is something to be said for "customer service" - this is a good dive light but what makes it really excellent is the company backup. if it breaks, they will send you a new one. whether it be airport baggage handling or you it off of a cliff, they dont care. the one i have is brand new, but a dive buddy of mine who is an instructor and owns a dive shop in florida only carries this brand.

Underwater Kinetics C8 eLED Dive Light Reviews

Underwater Kinetics C8 eLED Dive Light Reviews   C8 eLED Dive Light

Works well but has its faults - Bought this light to replace an C8 eLED Plus light that flooded. The standard version of the light is noticeably dimmer, if I had the chance to do it again I would pay the extra couple bucks for the "Plus" model. Also the lock on on/off switch is a joke. even in the locked/off position the switch has enough play to allow the light to turn on, and on more than one occasion I have opened my bag to find the light already on significantly lessening the battery life once in the water. Definitely buy the rechargeable battery upgrade as you will need to replace the batteries after every 2-3 dives (if you use the light through out most of your dive as I do)

Let there be light - Very spendy item but in my opinion, worth every penny. Took two of these on several night deep dives in Bahamas and they ruled. Several other divers with basic lights thanked us for offering our enhanced illumination. Wrist mount is comfortable and the three intensity modes for both spot and flood are great. I found I used middle setting mostly which provides ample run time and went ot highest intensity for shooting video.
