Princeton Tec Miniwave L.E.D. Light Reviews   Miniwave L.E.D. Light

Let there be light.. - i picked up a couple of princeton tec miniwave eleds for my wife and i to take on a trip to cozumel last month. we did two night dives on our trip. one from the shore and the second from a boat. i also used the light on the interior portions of a wreck dive. the lights worked great. the leds provided plenty of light. most of the time we kept the lights on low power to conserve battery life and it was more than adequate for our needs. the high setting was very bright and it easily iliuminated a barracuda 50 ft. away in the clear water off of cozumel. the blue-white light provided very good color contrast. a couple of the other divers had older c8 lights that had a much dimmer,... This light rocks! - The Sola 1200 has narrow field or wide angle, multiple brightness settings, Easy on and off and locking settings. It is super Simple to operate under water and the wrist mount Is effortless and perfectly positioned. The light beam blows Away nearly all other competitive options at a fraction of the size. Can be a night light, video light or a serious add To day dives. Battery Lasts two tanks with some Good judgement. Recharges super fast. Bottom line- gives a Ton of light. Good battery life. Recharges very fast looks cool, its small and light and the wrist Mount makes it part of the dive rather than one More thing to lug along. The 1200 is the light to get.

MAJ OR G - I bought the UK Fathom 4 pack dive lights set about two months ago I got the xenon sun light instead of the led. The lights are very bright and very well made,The C8 has a great locking trigger so it wont turn on accidental in your dive bag not to great to get to your dive area and find out the batterys are toast,No guys and girls we dont keep batterys in the lights all the time.it is a bit heavy.now about the mini Q40 its a great light very bright for its size and works well on your mask for hands free operation are just for a back up light.now about the SL4 the amount of light it puts out on this unit is amazing for its size the light its self is all most worth what you would pay for the... Works exactly as it should - All too often you buy something thinking it will work right out of the box only to be surprised that you need to buy something else, like batteries. Not in this case. When I opened the box, everything I needed was in place and everything worked as it should. Care was even given to ensuring that the batteries wouldnt somehow be used up by accident. I went diving the same day the package arrived and found the light to be everything I hoped they would be. I highly recommend this package. I cant think of any reason to give it less than a five star rating

bright torch - Im very happy with my UK light cannon torch. My criteria for a new torch were: - High light output - proven design - not to expensiv - rechargable battery Well, this torch ticked all the boxes. It bright, proven design, simple to operate, use of the rechargable battery or disposables (back up during holidays) and selling on Scuba.com for a great price. Some people might find the torch too bulky and heavy but I do not mind. I bought it because you cant find a brighter torch for the money. Regards Ronald

Recent purchase of Light & Motion Sola 800 L.E.D. - I just recently purchased the dive light and love it. I took it on a live-a-board dive trip in the Caribbean where I did 4 night dives. For general viewing I used the flood option. When I wanted to pear into the nooks and crannies, I changed it to spot. The colors of the reef came to life with the bright light. Others on the boat commented that they new exactly where I was at all times. They could not believe how bright this light was. The charger provided a convenient way to recharge the batteries between dives. I would highly recommend this light and look forward to using it on my wreck dives this summer.

Princeton Tec Shockwave II Light Reviews

Princeton Tec Shockwave II Light Reviews   Shockwave II Light

Reviewer: John Neff on 4/26/2013

Shockwave II Dive Light - Good product, but the three position switch is a bit difficult to use, especially with gloves keeping it from being a great product. The light beam (on high) is bright, but fairly broad, certainly not a spot light, which makes the rated brightness a bit mis-leading. Has a long battery life. All in all a good product well worth the money, but a better switch would be a great improvement.
