| Sea & Sea DX-2G 12.1 Megapixel Underwater Camera and Housing Reviews
Reviewer: Adam M. on 10/1/2009
Best underwater digital camera Ive used so far... - I am an avid underwater photographer with about 140 camera dives. The DX-2G is the 6th digital UW camera Ive used, and so far, my favorite. I have both Sea & Sea and SeaLife cameras. I do not have SeaLifes most recent DC1000 camera though to compare to.
I currently shoot with the DX-2G, two Sea & Sea YS110a Strobes, and a Fish Eye Fix HG20DX Focus Light. My opinion is that the SeaLife cameras are great, and make underwater photography very easy and rewarding for people new to shooting. I think the Sea & Sea series gives me a bit more control and flexibility now as a more experienced diver and photographer. I have taken great photos with both, however.
First, the Sea &Sea mode... View Full Review

| Sealife DC1200 12.0 Megapixel Underwater Camera Maxx Kit with Dual Digital Pro Flash Reviews
Reviewer: Michael Wood on 7/30/2010
Great personal underwater photographic system - I bought this Sealife DC1200 Underwater Camera Maxx Kit because this Sealife camera had achieved the 12 megapixel level. This is theoretically enough resolution to have underwater photos accepted by some of the Microstock Agencies. I also wanted a more compact system that I could take on travel. I was still shooting film underwater and this $1,400.00 investment beat the $10,000.00 cost of more professional digital system. I knew there would be shutter delay with this underwater camera focusing so that was expected.
Good news is this system was ready to go right out of the box. Its compact to take it where ever you go. It turns out great pictures for personal use.
Bad news is, even... View Full Review

| Canon WP-DC70 Underwater Housing For Canon Powershot SD500 Reviews
Reviewer: Jim Rhea on 6/11/2007
Great investment - The first time I put my camera into this housing I was terrified. I could just see my 7.2 MP Canon camera with water running out of the lens. To my delight that did not happen! What I got out of the camera were some great shots of fish nesting in the bottom of the local quarry. Use of the housing is cumbersome when wearing gloves. The controls are a bit close together. This is required of course for the compact size. The user MUST use the flash lens with the camera. Otherwise you will end up with a big dark spot in the lower right corner of the pictures. Use the housing on dry land a while before diving with it so you do waste time and air fumbling for the controls. And DONT forget the... View Full Review

| Canon WP-DC23 Underwater Housing for SD770IS Reviews
Reviewer: George Toney on 6/28/2008
canon sd770is under water housing - I got the case for a week long dive trip to the Bahams. WOW
I am glad I did. My shots with this camera were so awesome. There were about five other cameras on the boat and my shots were better than those others, which included a Sony in an Ike Lite case, a Sea and Sea with a strob and a Olympus. First this case is small and light compared to all the others. Has a great diffuser that attches well and stays on the camera. The Ike Light case lost its diffuser and the Sea and Sea lost its diffuser we found it and reattched. Full function of the camera under water no setting to forget before putting in the case A ++++. A few times I forgot to match the switch to the houseing, like review to... View Full Review

| Canon WP-DC28 Underwater Housing for Powershot G10 Reviews
Reviewer: Christopher Boziel on 9/6/2009
Great Case For The Price - This is my first underwater camera case. I am a part time professional photographer and underwater shooting is something new to me. I wanted a quality set-up without paying thousands of dollars to see if I enjoyed it. The G10 WP-DC28 combo works really well. I am not even using a strobe yet and I am getting crystal clear shots using RAW.
I was extremely nervuous about taking my brand new $500 G10 under the first few times but I had it down to 120ft on my last dive with NO LEAKS!
I do suggest you buy the ballast weights with the case as they are very nessesary.
The only problem with the case is the slidewheel used for exposure/aperature adjustments is not controlable with the... View Full Review

| Sealife DC1200 12.0 Megapixel Underwater Camera and Housing Reviews
Reviewer: Ronald Agee on 7/18/2010
Best for me - Camera was the best buy for my Grand Cayman Trip.
My pictures were better than any 35mm from the past.
The option to create videos with just one button was priceless. Bought two batteries and this ended up being a good decision. One battery did not last three dives.
Also bought a class 6 (8gb) flash card and also purchased (locally) a class 4 (8gb) card. I used both but could not tell the difference. Piano keys are preferred for me but I have never used a camera with 20 buttons.
Micro pictures were great although the best pictures were from 6 to 10 inches. NOTE: when using the AUTO focus, remember to press halfway so the camera can focus, then finish pressing the key. IF you dont... View Full Review

| Sealife DC1200 12.0 Megapixel Underwater Camera Elite Kit with Digital Pro Flash Reviews
Reviewer: David K. on 7/19/2010
Excellent camera at excellent value - I was set to buy a used DC1000 until I saw the new DC1200 was to be released. I received camera just a week prior to going diving in Caribbean. The piano keys are a true innovation, making it very easy to use and adjust underwater. I also love the ability to flip back and forth between still and video with a single button - as an amateur, I think I got better video than still photos. Rechargeable batteries in flash only lasted one dive, so get an extra set of rechargeable batteries. The camera battery easily supported two dives, but the camera battery takes awhile to recharge with the charger provided, so I recommend getting an extra battery if youll be using the camera for extended... | Canon WP-DC40 Underwater Housing For Canon S60/S70 Reviews
Reviewer: Charles Johnsen on 7/2/2007
Housing for Canon S60/S70 - Im new to underwater photography and I did not want to spend large amounts of money to get started. I already owned a Canon S70. The case is very high quality and it worked out great. All the features are available via the buttons on the case. The only caveat is to be sure you are familiar with the location and function of the buttons because the symbols on the camera are obscured by the buttons themselves. I also purchased a short retractable tether that I clipped to the case and then to my BCD. That allowed me to keep my hands free but the camera was always handy. The case comes with a removable sun shade and I did not use it on my first dive and it was difficult at times to see... View Full Review

| Liquid Image Video Camera Mask with 5.0 MP Digital Camera Reviews
Reviewer: Lane W. on 6/24/2010
So much Fun -Underwater Video Mask! - We are having a great time with the Underwater video and digital camera. I purchased this gift for my 13 year old daughter who loves to play in the pool. We have got some really cool shots. We even took a picture of the whole family underwater. I think that will be our next Christmas card. The pictures are very clear in and out of the water. The camera is easy to use and simple. We cant wait to take it with us on our next cruise for snorkling.

| Canon WP-DC33 Underwater Housing for Powershot SD940 IS Reviews
Reviewer: Dayton Reuter on 6/19/2010
Great little housing - i love these canon dive housings. this is my third one different generations of canon cameras over the past 8 years. ive dove these housings repeatedly to depths of 140 and all three have performed flawlessly without leaks. the only down side is these cases flex slightly under pressure resulting in background creaking noises being captured in the audio track when recording video. this isnt enough of a problem to diss an otherwise great inexpensive dive housing, and those little annoyances can otherwise be edited out of the video during post processing anyway.

| Epoque 8.0 Megapixel EHD-800Ai Underwater Camera & Housing Reviews
Reviewer: Charles Smith on 8/22/2009
Good beginners camera - I bought this camera to replace one that only had a 3 megapixel capacity. It worked well but was limited. It was easy to open the case to replace the batteries and use the camera outside the underwater case. The slow shutter speed/focus is not for moving fish. Still life shots are great to about 30 or bright light situations. The filter is a must below 30 feet or the pictures will definately be blue..very blue! Overall, now I know what to expect, I am happy with the camera.

| Canon WP-DC700 Underwater Housing For Canon A60/A70 Reviews
Reviewer: David C. Weeks on 11/19/2006
Canon U/W Housing for Powershot A70 - at first i was apprehensive about bringing my camera u/w, as ive heard many horror stories of leakage and the like. i have to say that any fears i had were quickly quelled when i completed my dive, opened the housing, and viewed the pictures i had taken.
excellent quality pics (as one would expect with a canon), the freedom and ability to take video u/w was a plus, and not a single of water penetrated the housing itself.
for this amount of protection of your camera, the ability to snap pics at will (and them if desired), take video, manipulate what kind of pics you will take u/w (e.g. macro, black and white, etc.), and still not have to be concerned that you will damage your camera make... View Full Review

| Fantasea FP-5000 Housing for Nikon Coolpix P5000/P5100 Reviews
Reviewer: Eric Adrian on 12/19/2007
St Martin Fantasea come true - just got back from our annual trip to st martin in the caribbean. every year weve attempted to get good underwater pictures and failed-this year we succeded because of the awsome fantasea housing!!every control button worked effortlessly and we shot over 800 pictures and video. it never leaked once and the nikon p5100 performed like a champ. i couldnt be happier with the camera and the housing -its well worth the price and well use it every year. just keep the o ring clean of sand and make sure in inside of the lens in the housing is immaculate and youll be rewarded with tons of keepers. the acrylic material stayed clear and scratch free and the camera caddy slipped into the case with ease.... | Canon WP-DC22 Underwater Housing For Powershot SD1100 IS Reviews
Reviewer: Jason C. on 4/17/2008
Great option! - My wife and I recently travelled to the Galapagos islands and because most of the time we were going to be on the islands and not underwater, we didnt want to take our bulky housings for our digital video camera and SLR. The Canon WP-DC22 housing for the new Canon Elph 1100 was the perfect solution. It is compact, easy to open and close and is good to depths of 100 feet. It allows for both video and photos and gives you easy access to all the cameras controls. It also means you can see everything you are doing through the large viewing window in back. We have no complaints whatsoever about this housing and scuba.com got it to us as soon as it was available.
