| JBL Black Amber Pro Bands Reviews
Reviewer: Susan Mickelon on 5/24/2007
JBL Slings - JBL, as a company, has been in the business of manufacturing underwater hunting products for many years. The quality of their products is second to none. I have been using a JBL 38 Special for over 20 years and the only thing I have had to replace are the slings. This is understandable as the slings are a rubber product and subject to degradation. Although this is true, properly maintained slings will give an individual long and satisfactory service. I strongly recommend JBL products to those people looking for quality in their hunting products.

| Mares Torpedo Buoy Reviews
Reviewer: Michael s. on 2/26/2010
Decent bouy, minor problems - This is very much a no-frills bouy. multiple connection points on the bottom are convenient for spear-fishermen, but otherwise useless for divers. Be sure to tie the rope to the front most point. The second inflation pocket on the bottom is designed to be filled with water to give proper bouyance and keep it upright, but I found that too difficult. I just tied a lead fishing weight to the center bottom. The plug for the main air compartment did come unplugged several times and I really had to jam it in there to get it to hold.
You definitely want to get some sort of reel for the string or else it will get tangled.

| Trident Sea Springs Coil Lanyard/Shock Line Reviews
Reviewer: Gregory Harding on 9/19/2006
Review Trident Sea Springs Lanyard - Shipping was fast and accurate. As has been my experience with Scuba.com in the past - first rate!.
I have used this product for close to 10 years as a lanyard attaching my spear shaft to my spear gun with no problems. This particular lanyard failed at the crimp when a speared fish made a relatively weak run. The crimp is certainly the weak point! I lost $100.00 worth of shaft, spear tip and related accessories. I recrimped the lanyard myself and actually double crimed it. Assuming no more problems, I will most likely purchase one again, but Ill make sure the crimp is good.

| Trident Suction (Slurp) Gun Reviews
Reviewer: Steve Shaw on 1/5/2009
Not so hot - The idea is good. I have seen other slurp guns work just fine. I think this version was put together badly. There is a styrofoam packing disk which I suspect is suposed to act as a gasket to create the suction. This disk in my copy is between the piston and the nose of the slurp gun accomplishing absolutely nothing. The piston, without a working gasket, does not create enough suction to disturb the smallest fish.

| Pure Instinct by Mares Attack Speargun Bag Reviews
Reviewer: Robert Kristich on 12/30/2008
Speargun Bag - I returned the bag. It was too large for the JBL speargun that I bought it for. I just stuck it in my suitcase. Worked well.

| JBL Tri-cut Breakaway Point Reviews
Reviewer: Scott Mclemore on 9/1/2008
Amberjack - Great point! It can be ground and re-sharpened with a metal file for extended use after rough hits on rocks and reefs in the heat of battle. Strong knock down power.

| JBL Competition Line Reel Reviews
Reviewer: SAID AMASHTA on 8/2/2008
REEL DETAILS - I used this Model only 3 times and it works good, but sometimes the line begin to run with a little of pressure on it.
The thing is that it doesn’t have a clutch to put the pressure you want.

| Trident Innertube Bracket And Pole Reviews
Reviewer: Juli Bohmer on 8/12/2009
Innter tube bracket and pole - This is needed to lift the flag off of the dive float. Great to use near boat channels, secluded locations or far off shore. It works great on days when winds are down. I havent tried it on a windy day, yet, but I think it should hold up.

| JBL Break-Away Rockpoint Speartip Reviews
Reviewer: Michael Fisher on 8/17/2009
Stainless Spearpoint - I ordered and received the spear point via the internet. It was delivered a day before the date scuba.com said it would. The point was exactly as I ordered it and is very solid and screwed onto my spearguns shaft like a glove.
