GOOD BC - FOR THE MONEY THIS IS A GREAT BC! VERY COMFORTABLE ON THE BACK, KEEPS YOUR TANK VERY SECURE, BECAUSE OF THE TANK PLATE, THE TANK DOES NOT MOVE FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER AS SOME TANKS WILL DO ON BCS. THE FIT IS TRUE AND THE ADJUSTMENTS ARE EASY. FOR THE PRICE, IT IS A GREAT FIRST BC. THE WEIGHT INTEGRATION IS EASY TO FILL AND EASY TO DUMP IF NEEDED. THE DUMP VALVES ARE EASY TO REACH AS WELL AND WORK GREAT.

Sherwoodl Avid 2008 BCD - Sheer joy to use. Lots of D-rings, entry and exit very easy and the integrated weight system makes me happy that I purchased a new BCD.

Reviewer: Peter Z. on 12/14/2009
Great for the traveling Diver - With the airlines restrictions on the weight of your checked bags every ounce is important. This BCD will help with the weight issue and also with it folding into the include bag you will have additional room. This BCD has large pockets so I can carry all my needed items. The trim weight pockets have helped me with a better profile making me more efficient in the water which has given me better air usage. The integrated weight pockets are outstanding, very secure and still easy to remove when needed. This is my fourth BCD and my second travel BCD, I’m very happy with this purchase along with the service I received from Scuba.com

Great BCD for the Price - Needs more D-Rings - Overall, Im very happy with this BCD. It fits well, is made to last and is great for cold water diving. It has ample lift and more than enough room to accomodate weight, speaking of which I love the quick release system. Ive used this for over 40 dives and have had no problems to date.
My only complaint, and the reason Ive given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is only 1 D-ring on the front straps so I have to clip everything in one place. It would also be nice if there were rings inside the pockets so I didnt have to worry about losing my safety sausage or extra mask. The good news is this can be fixed by most dive shops for about $30.

| Mares Dragon Ergo Scuba BC with MRS Plus Weight System Reviews
Reviewer: Butch Amann on 9/20/2006
Mares Dragon BCD a winner - I recently purchased the Mares Dragon Ergo BCD with the MRS Plus weight system. I looked into several other models before making my decision. I am very happy with the vest. It fits well and is easy to put on and get off. The weight release system functions extremely well, and was easy to add or change weights even while underwater. The side pockets are easily accessible. The only problems I had were with the tank clamp, which seemed to be a little hard to get tight, and it did rub a bit in the front shoulder area. This may be in part due to the newness of the unit, and may get better as it is used more.

| Sherwood Silhouette Scuba BC Reviews
Reviewer: Jerry Skeenes on 12/20/2008
Sherwood BC - I like simple equipment for diving. Had been diving with the same simple BC for about 15 years and it finially gave up. When I looked for a replacement I wanted a simple replacement. Sherwood seemed to have the BC I was looking for. This BC has good pockets with one that is secured with velcro that allows for safety items to be stored. I would like to see a d-ring added to this pocked and velcro on the other side but this is my only complaint. The BC is built very rugged, is comfortable, hasd plenty of attachment points for non-techical diving and the tank stays put. I have used it on 13 dives in Cozumel and the only issue I have noticed when compared to my old BC is it causes me to... View Full Review

| Mares Dragon Airtrim Scuba BC with MRS Plus Weight System Reviews
Reviewer: Doyle Sullivan on 11/20/2006
Dragon Air Trim - I used my new Mares Dragon AT for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It took about 2 seconds to become spoiled. The power assisted deflation worked better than I expected. When one pushes the deflate button, the purge valve makes a distictive noise that that makes it easy to know how much air is being released. Also, no bubbles to disturb your view. Dont plan on using the side pockets for much storage.

| Seasoft Pro Scuba BC Reviews
Reviewer: Darrell L. on 4/14/2008
SeaSoft Pro isFantastic - I find this BCD to be the best one I have ever used (at least six others). It is extremely easy to adjust and very comfortable both in and out of the water. The tank bands are the best I have ever used and give you a great level of comfort due to the dual bands. The weight pockets are also the best I have seen. If you need to dump the integrated weights, you do not lose your pockets and there is also a possibility of retrieving the weights later in their interior bright orange bag.
The retractables for a small backup light and gauges are very helpful. If flashlight can be used in the daytime to see under ledges and other tight spaces and also makes a great backup light for night... View Full Review
