great versatile dive computer! - this is a great computer: small, light-weight, palm-sized profile but with large easy to read display. i received it fedex the day i left for a dive trip and had to read the manual on the airplane no problem! simple to understand basic functions and menus. i ordered the quick-connect option which is not only handy for downloading to laptop, but also for stashing the computer in a carry-on bag. the downside is that the quick-connect is sold only with the compass i like to dive with my computer tucked in my bc and didnt want the extra bulk of the compass. fortunately our dive shop guy was able to remove the compass fairly easily (dont try it yourself unless you have special tools!) the... Ill never shop for SCUBA gear anywhere Else! - In todays corporate/business world honesty and integrity are sought after. Well in SCUBA.com I have found it and I need not look any further. I know I do not have to shop around for a better price. My local dive shop here in Central FL gave me the best price I thought I would ever get, especially trying to beat their price through research on the i-net. I had completed my research and somehow stumbled across SCUBA.com web site and boy am I glad I did. They were $163.00 lower then the dive shop. Doesnt get any better... - I purchased this Oceanic Datamax Pro Plus 2 Air/Nitrox Integrated Computer because my boyfriend has one and he highly recommended his...
Best choice I made... I wear reading glasses and this computer gives me the font size I can read without glasses, an important featured I might add...
Also we can now download our data onto the same program so that too is a plus...
Everyone we meet diving feels it is a top of the line, cant go wrong product...get one now!!!

Oceanic Veo 100 NX Air/Nitrox Computer Console - My last few trips I have had problems with my dive computer and the accuracy of my air gauge.
For this trip to Roatan I decided to replace the hardware that has been giving me problems in the past.
I really like the dive computer, it is very simple to use and the now accuate pressure gauge has taken a lot of worry out of my dives.

Great computer for a good price - Having used this computer for a couple months now I have been able to determine its strengths and weaknesses. The strengths are as follows:
1. Self adjusts for altitude. (Most of my dives are high altitude fresh water dives between 4,500 – 11,000 feet. It is nice not to have to worry about programming altitudes in it).
2. Allows for two gases, programming and switching between them while under water.
3. Easy computer to learn and use (as opposed to my Suunto Cobra II).
4. Large easy to read numbers with the primary screen containing the depth, dive time, no decompression limit, PO2 monitor, oxygen and nitrogen absorption bar graphs, and accent rate.
