| Pinnacle Merino-Evolution Undergarment Reviews
Reviewer: Donald A. Dutcher on 5/16/2008
Merino Evolution - No BS assessment. - THE FACTS: If you dive coldwater and you like to be warm before / during / after the dive, this is the suit for you. The Merino-Evolution is very well made, very comfortable and easy to move in. The merino wool feels great. The neoprene leg and arm cuffs work well at keeping the suit in place under your drysuit. Unless you are cold blooded, 60 degree water is probably the warmest dive you want to take with this suit assuming you are wearing the minimum clothing necessary underneath.
MY OPINION: This was my first purchase of a Pinnacle product and I am sold on them. When you handle this suit, you can feel the quality Pinnacle put into it. If there is a downside to the... View Full Review

| Underwater Kinetics Hangair Wetsuit/Drysuit Dryer Reviews
Reviewer: Karen H. on 4/10/2008
Wetsuit dryer is amazing! - The Hangair Wetsuit Dryer was a perfect gift for a surfer at a really reasonable price! Totally worth it!
Pros: It completely dries a wetsuit within a half day through a fan installed in the hanger. The cool air blows down through the wetsuit, drying the main body of the wetsuit as well as the legs and arm sleeves. The hanger itself is really nice and bulky and great to use even when the wetsuit is dry, as it provides a wide shoulder area on the hanger so your wetsuit isnt warped/stretched by hanging all the time. The hook on the hanger swivels to allow hanging the wetsuit in a variety of locations.
Cons: There are two drying settings: High and Low. High gets a little loud but I... View Full Review

| Henderson Gold Core Drysuit Hood Reviews
Reviewer: Jeff Holland on 12/9/2006
Without a doubt, one of the best hoods out there - As the reviews for this hood indicate, this is an excellent product. I was a little worried my head would be cold on a two-tank dive in 42 degree water, but it was not. The flow control option on the top of the hood worked very well, and I was surprised how comfortable and loose the hood was and still kept my head warm and comforable. A few caveats, though:
1 - Be sure to order the next size up if you are in doubt.
2 - The neoprene around the jaw area was annoying and covered my mouth. My dive partner had the same issue with the same hood. We cut the neoprene around the jaw area with scissors to our liking and it worked and made the hood much more comfortable.

| XS Scuba Drysuit/Wetsuit Pocket Reviews
Reviewer: Jeremy F. on 6/18/2007
Handy Accessory - the scuba dry or wetsuit pocket is a great item to have i have room to carry more gear and still remain streamlined. for the price, it was a must have item. the only detail that i found to be a drawback was the included 1/2oz of aqua seal, which was not quite adequate. i followed the directions and needed approximately another 1/2oz of aqua seal. it also required careful planning for the area needed to install, as the size dimensions were accurate (10" x 6" x 2.5" depth). i have not had any problems with the product itself and i now enjoy the additional space provided by the pocket.

| ONeill 3mm Heavy Duty Drysuit Boots Reviews
Reviewer: Alfonso B. on 4/15/2008
ONeill 3mm Heavy Duty Drysuit Boots - The ONeill drysuit boots is a very durable and comfortable boot. Putting on and taking off the boot is fairy easy especially with the velcro straps. The only concern I have is with the 3mm inner liner. I would feel more comfortable if there was no inner liner. I use the ONeill 3mm Specialist Drysuit with this boot which basically makes it a 6mm sock which can make for a pretty tight fit in the boot. Drainage just out of the water is also fair again due to the 3mm inner liner. If you are thinking about getting this boot I suggest doing a fin fit also since the thick sole may lead to getting XL or XXL fins. I switch to the power fins to accomodate for the larger "footprint."

| XS Scuba 5mm Dry Five Pyrostretch Dry Gloves Reviews
Reviewer: Nicholas Mason on 3/8/2008
Great Gloves. - We go winter diving in Puget Sound where the water temp is 44F (March 1). We were using 5mm gloves and our dives were limited by our hands getting too cold. We purchased a pair of these for each of us and are hands stay nice and warm. They arent water tight so some water gets in, but it seems to stay in and warm up. Also, we both agree they seem to be a size too large. Getting them on isnt too bad, just roll the wrist up, put it on, and roll it back down. Dont expect to do much with them on through.
I recommend them and would get them again.

| XS Scuba Dry Suit Hanger Reviews
Reviewer: Paul S. on 6/10/2007
XS Scuba Dry Suit Hanger - this hanger works best if you have extra height to hang your drysuit upside down by its feet, since the arms will hang down below the shoulders. at the time of purchase, the ads didnt mention that, if you have a drysuit with neoprene feet (like me) instead of integrated boots, the sock-like feet slide through the hanger. i cured this problem by ing an empty water bottle in each foot, and it works fine. i couple this hanger with a broad neck and shoulder hanger, allowing me to store the rig in a regular closet once dry. it rated it five stars, taking into account the "adjustments" i describe here.

| Apollo Bio Neck Seal Reviews
Reviewer: Sam O. on 8/21/2007
Seems OK - Its a little more of a hassle than not using one, but it seems to improve the seal of my neoprene neck seal. It hasnt completely prevented air "burping" out of the suit, but I have been a bit dryer inside. It gets folded over sometimes when trying to put it on, but not impossible to straighten out and get the neck seal situated, as long as Im not too hot or rushed. Not sure if it was worth the expense, but I guess Id rather try this for a while instead of sending my suit back to have the neck seal adjusted and risk getting it too tight.

| Dive Rite Gaiters Reviews
Reviewer: Yasuko Okada on 10/12/2006
Could be better - Like most drysuit divers, I want to keep air from getting trapped in my legs. Ankle weights can drag your feet down and set your body at a plane in the water though you are more efficient and trim in a horizontal position. Thats where gaiters come in. They dont drag your feet down, but they should be snug enough to keep air from getting trapped in your legs and possibly causing a feet-up floatiness.
These DiveRite gaiters have three clip attachments. Youll have to adjust each one and cut-and-burn the excess off, or stuff it back underneath once you are done.
Ive seen the Halcyon gaiters, which wrap the entire leg. In retrospect Id rather use the Halcyon ones because they dont require... View Full Review

| Trident Suit Juice Reviews
Reviewer: Sylvania D. on 8/14/2007
Essential part of any dive kit - I couldnt believe how much easier my new suit went on with Suit Juice. I have a disability and usually would need help putting on my suit - now I only need help with zipping. I was able to get my new 7mm fullsuit on in only a few minutes with only minor armpit assistance, and it came off just as easily. Its not greasy at all and even helps to neutralise odors. My skin even seems softer afterward. I cant rave about this stuff enough - I just wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

| Bare T-100 Polar Ware Reviews
Reviewer: Dominick Attisani on 1/29/2007
Bares T100 make you feel like a Polar Bear - very warm - Very warm and minimally bulky. Perfect for California . Im toasty from 45 - 60 degrees without exception. Also doubles as a nice nightgarmet if you forget your sleeping bag on cold liveaboards :) Only caution would be lobster enthusiasts who would likely be better off using a Neoprene suit instead of shell & undergarm.... | Henderson Gold Core 7mm 3 Finger Mitts Reviews
Reviewer: jody bakker on 4/10/2008
number one cold water diving gloves - i have used 5 mil gloves for a few years. i am to stubborn to use the dry gloves, mostly because i like to be efficient. in montana, diving in the winter means 33 to 34 degree water. my hands usually get cold in the 5 mil gloves. i tried the henderson gloves and oh my, i kept waiting to feel the cold, and it just didnt happen. my hands stayed warm and seemed to stay dry with the goldcore lining. a superior product.

| Bare 5mm Gauntlet Gloves Reviews
Reviewer: Ryan Egan on 11/26/2006
Great for dry or wetsuit! - These are warm, well constructed gloves. While they are thick enough to keep your hands warm in 50 or 60 degree water, they still give you enough dexterity to push buttons on computers, drysuit inflator valves, etc. The gloves are long enough to cover your wrists, and have an elastic and velcro wrist strap to seal them up. I used the gloves in Blue Hole in New Mexico, which was about 60 degrees at the bottom, and my hands were actually a bit too warm! I have been impressed with all of the Bare products, and these gloves are no exception.

| Deep See 4mm Drysuit Comfort Gloves Reviews
Reviewer: Johnathan A Easton on 4/29/2008
Great Gloves! - I froze my hands in 38 degree F water in my old gloves last fall, so I went looking for a new pair of gloves. I researched dry gloves, thick mitts, and many others. Found these and they are great! My hands stay semi dry, no leaking into my dry suit, flexible, easy to put on, warm hands after being in 40 degree F water for over an hour and stayed warm after a total of 4 hours diving in one cold day.

| Bare Dry Glove System Reviews
Reviewer: Brent B. on 5/18/2007
Works great -
These are the typical "blue gloves" that most people use when they go dry. They are tough enough to hold up under normal diving, but Ive heard of people holing them on wrecks and such. They make reinforced gloves for those areas.
The glove liners are nice, but the wrist cuffs are longer than needed, so may need to be cut down, or folded over at least.
Good product- dont forget the quick clamps if you are adding dry gloves on to a drysuit that does not have the rings already.

| Bare 7/5mm Dry Suit Hood Reviews
Reviewer: Ryan Egan on 11/26/2006
Good Hood! - This is a great hood for the drysuit diver or the wetsuit diver who does not like the added bulk of a bib-type hood. The Bare hood is easy to put on and take off, and is self venting, so you dont get a bunch of uncomfortable air pockets around your head. The hood is also comfortable to wear, and there are no seams or folds of fabric that poke into your head or face. I used the hood on several dives in 60 degree water, and I was more than warm enough. I am continually impressed by the high quality of construction that you get with the Bare products.
