Reviewer: Paige J. on 6/22/2014Ocean Quest 3mm Low Top Premium Super-Stretch Titanium Medium Sole Dive Boots Review - $24.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - these boots are very comfortable. i have a wide foot and have difficulty in getting a five boot to fit. most dive boots are too narrow, even when i order a whole size larger that my shoe size. i usually swim in warm water w/o a wetsuit or only in a short sleeve wetsuit top without bottoms. these boots are great for those who do not need a tall dive boot with wetsuit bottoms in cool water. these low top dive boots are: (1) high enough to take my fin straps w/o straps edging up over the boot topand (2)have an excellent grip sole that allow me to walk on rough and slippery surfaces (including coral) and wet slick floors safely. after getting a pair for myself, my wife and several of my...View Full Review
Reviewer: Gregory D. on 9/15/2014Neosport by Henderson 3mm Low Top Tropic Dive Boot Review - $30.99 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - These are great boots, or should I say shoes, the tops are so low theyre more like shoes. I have a pair of the NeoSport high top 3mm boots, living in Florida, I dont always wear a wet suit and the high tops just look kind of goofy without a wetsuit, so I ordered the NeoSport low tops. These things fit great and fit in my fins as well as my boots do. They are definitely a well made quality item. I would recommend them to anyone. I ordered them just a few weeks before my vacation, and was a little nervous when I received an e-mail from Scuba.Com saying that they were on back order, and the new date that was given, would be after I the date that I would be leaving, but Scuba.Com came through...View Full Review
Reviewer: William K. on 5/1/2014Akona 2mm Low Top Dive Socks - I bought a pair of these socks and loved them. They were true to size and very soft and comfortable. Then I lost one my first day out and missed it terribly. I purchased them for use when snorkeling. I snorkel for long periods of time and these make the fins feel like your house slippers. When I ordered a new pair, I ordered an extra. They ended up on back order and I waited for a while and then I decided to call. Scuba said they could cancel the order or replace them with the next sock up at no added cost, which was the XS Scuba brand. Read the reviews and all said order a size or 2 down. Not knowing which to do, ordered 2 pair, 1 and 2 sizes down. I was "sent" 2 and 3 sizes...View Full Review
Reviewer: Grant Macdonald on 8/2/2014Aqua Lung. 3mm Echo Zip Ergo Dive Boots Review - $38.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - After a lot of frustration trying to find boots that will fit my wife it was great to find this Aqua Lung product. Great fit, very comfortable and well made. A little hard for my wife to put on and especially take off but I think that has more to do with my wifes feet and quite frankly, neoprene never really lends itself to easily slipping on and off. We just got back from a two week dive trip around the Playa del Carmen and Cozumel area and my wife was very happy with her boots (cave diving that required walking on rock and gravel paths and then some walking on beach and rocky shore). Perhaps it was the hot weather but I found the boots dried quickly. I really like the velcro tab to keep...View Full Review
Reviewer: Matt R. on 12/18/2014XS Scuba 3mm Low-Top Tropic Dive Boots Review - $35.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - Low top boots I received from scuba.com worked great and were very comfortable. Whether your walking down the beach or hopping in the water for a dive these XS tropical dive boots work great. Their fit is perfect for my shoe size and Ive found them to be very comfortable. Leave your shoes in the car and take these boots on the trail, beach, boat, or directly into the water. Even when wet they dont stretch or make your foot slide around ! They also clean up easy.I used the bag they came in for storage in the car, and for transport in my luggage for my flight.
Reviewer: Fran C. on 7/21/2008Snorkel Booties - It was two days before our 2 week vacation to Hawaii when my package from Scuba.com arrived. I wasnt sure about these booties when they arrived because they were all about function and not much on fashion. I had already purchased another pair of booties from a local retailer before my saleman at Scuba.Com suggested I try these. When they arrived my husband (an ex Navy diver) explained how these booties were made to fit inside my fins with no bunching or rubbing around the ankle, unlike the other booties I had bought. The sole was flexible enough to allow full movement while inside the fins. Also, when I was out of my fins and just in the booties, they fit so snuggly to my feet that I...View Full Review
Reviewer: Ron D. on 11/4/2013Highly useful & very comfortable - My wife and I bought these when looking for a set of socks to wear under our dive boots for a trip to Bonaire. Since there is so much walking we wanted something that would help prevent blisters. My secondary goal to buy a set of socks that would last more than one trip. The XS Scuba Beefy socks did the trick. What surprised me was that I didnt realize how much Id appreciate the extra warmth these socks provided. Im generally a hot blooded person and was afraid me feet would be too warm but that wasnt the case. In fact, the extra warmth was quite pleasing. I must comment that the one size fits all is accurate too. I wear a mens size 11 shoe and my wife wears a womens size 7. We...View Full Review
Reviewer: Amber M. on 5/3/2014Lightweight, Stylish, OK Fit - I definitely like the look of these boots, and they are lightweight and keep the feet cool. The sole is thicker, and I feel like gives decent protection for walking around on rocky surfaces. I have small feet, so I got a very small size. Unfortunately, my toes slightly touch the front of the boot, but the heel still gaps and slides a little when walking around. Inside of the fin, the boots do not slide on the heel, and I have had no problems using the boot for snorkel or scuba.
Reviewer: lorie g. on 1/9/2015Pinnacle V-Skin Trilaminate Merino Dive Socks Review - $34.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - I got these for my husband who frequently spear fishes off the Daytona Beach coast. He likes his full foot free diving fins but hasnt been able to wear them in the winter months, until now. He loves them, his buddies were envious. Warm enough for full foot fins yet, thin enough to wear with booties. Great find!
Reviewer: Greg Slobodeski on 7/29/2014ScubaPro 2mm / 1.5mm Hybrid Dive Socks for 2014 Review - $30.00 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - These dive socks are super comfortable and durable. They also have non-slip bottoms so they are great to wear on a boat before and after a dive, or if you have to traverse coral or a rocky beach to get to your dive site. If you normally wear a half-size shoe like me buy a pair that are a half size bigger (I normally wear a size 9 1/2 shoe and found the size 10 to fit perfect). I wear them with my ScubaPro full-foot Sport Jet Fins and they are excellent.
Reviewer: John W. on 1/1/2015Neosport by Henderson 3mm Medium Sole Zipper Dive Boots Review - $39.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - I hoped that a "medium" sole would provide protection when walking but still fit well inside my fins. But the rubber of the sole is too wide to fit my fins well, so I may get around to returning them. However, the boots seem reasonably well made.
Reviewer: Jason Griffiths on 4/5/2014Great tech for dedicated purpose - 3mm polytherm by lavacore i was shocked to find out how warm this material is. as great as the tech is for keeping heat in, its still a thin suit that will allow heat to be drawn out in colder waters pretty quickly. i would recommend this as either a warm or shallow (>35ft) cold water dive. theres loads of mobility for wreck dives and i hope to test it as a base layer under a glacier this winter...will this review then.
Reviewer: Cyndi Dilbeck on 12/31/2014Neosport by Henderson 3mm Low-Top Soft Sole Dive Boots Review - $24.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - Bought these boots to keep my feet warm & dry in 50-60 degree water in my above ground pool. The boots fit perfectly and are good for water exercises! Durable & flexible as well! Great price for a great product!
Reviewer: Gabriel Herpin on 10/24/2014Camaro 3mm Aqua Slippers Review - $34.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - Aqua Slippers is a good name for them. The soles are not thick enough to stand up to iron rock or any other sharp object. They are comfortable and fine for a boat dive but if I had needed to do any prolonged kicking the looseness of the boots would have been problematic.
Reviewer: Jeffrey G. on 2/22/2009polyfin hot socks - These socks worked well in warm water as protection against irritation from full foot fins. I suspect they will provide significant additional warmth with booties in a cold-water environment and have heard this is the case from a friend who uses them.
Reviewer: Kathryn S. on 9/22/2014Akona 3.5mm Deluxe Heavy Duty Molded Sole Low Top Dive Boots Review - $42.95 - Scuba Gear Customer Reviews - These boots are so much better than my zippered top boots. These boots have no zippers to creep down while you are diving. They feel very secure and the added padding on the sole is a plus for walking over rocks. I would recommend these boots to everyone.
