| Pinnacle 8/6mm Extreme Semi-Dry Merino II Titanium Jumpsuit with Attached Hood Reviews
Reviewer: Alison Jensen on 9/5/2009
Bit of a challenge - The suit is easy enough to get on, though I usually encounter only mild difficulty with the hood (getting it high enough on my shoulders to go over my head). Getting the suit off is another story: the zipper is very stiff, even when waxed, and led to my TKO on the shoreline when my boyfriends balled up hand slipped off the zipper and cracked me, full brute force, in the face (true story). The hood is also a bit difficult to get off and takes an extra person and a bit of a struggle to get up over my face without removing my chin and nose and sacrificing only a few hairs. Performance in the water is good, though a fair amount of water leaks in around the hood due to (I think) my long hair.... View Full Review

| Akona 7mm Titanium Jumpsuit Reviews

First new suit in a long time was a pleasant surprise! - This suit was a birthday gift. My last suit was a fully custom job: 7mm, hood attached farmer john and jacket... but it just didnt fit anymore. This was the first time I would use a the shelf and a one-piece suit.
My first time out was at Van Damme (north coast of California, south of Mendocino) abalone diving. I wasnt sure it would be warm enough in that cold water. I took 5 pounds off my weight belt to compesant for the bouyancy difference. First time in the water gave me a surprise with the cold water coming in through the rear zipper. Never had that experience before. The water always came in different places in my old suit! But the water soon warmed- and that was the only... View Full Review

| Mares 7/5/3mm Trilastic Superstretch Jumpsuit Reviews
Reviewer: Randy W. on 10/18/2008
Very Comfortable! Easy On and Off. - I was first impressed with how easy it was to put this wetsuit on. As with any wetsuit, I suggest wearing thin Lycra socks and an Underarmour T-shirt, which make on and off much easier. However, the lining in this wetsuit does not tend to stick to your skin. I did not have any problems with the thin water seals around the ankles and wrists. After the suit was on, I was next impressed with how flexible and free my arm and movements were - not the case with other suits I have worn. I am 6, 190, and a Large was a perfect fit, as if it was a custom. I stayed comfortable in the water and on the boat on my last dive trip. I recommend this wetsuit as quality gear for a great price!

| Pinnacle 7/5mm Arctic Merino Titanium Jumpsuit Reviews
Reviewer: mike m. on 9/19/2009
Awesome Wetsuit - My wife has a tougher time diving in colder water than I do so I wanted to make sure I got her a quality wetsuit. My Tilos wetsuit doesnt do much to seal off the ankles, wrists and neck. The Pinnacle arctic is designed exactly how I would want a wetsuit to be designed. The legs have an inner layer that seals to the ankle with glideskin. After putting the boot over the inner layer there is an outer layer that zips to cover the boot. The wrists have a similar setup but without the zipper. The neck has a unique to Pinnacle roll down collar that does a great job of restricting water flow. I was surprised to see just how much merino lining the suit had. The lining covers the entire suit.... View Full Review

fits like a glove - I bought this wetsuit for cold diving in the West/ Northwest coast.
When I first received this wetsuit and tried it on I had a feeling it wouldnt fit, but it just did. I jumped into my apartment pool and it gave just enough. In other words the sizing chart works great. Ill be honest in saying that I havent tested it in cold water yet but it seemed to let very little water in when I tried it in the pool. The merino wool really seems to help with the insulation. It does itch a little bit though, mainly when you are out of the water. If you are really irritated by wool you might want to consider another suit. The 10mm pad in the back is nice for extra insulation and the ankle zippers make... View Full Review

| Neosport by Henderson 7/5mm Jumpsuit Reviews
Reviewer: Ali Kazemian on 7/31/2008
Great cold water jumpsuit! - I wasnt sure about ordering a wetsuit online because of fitting, but all I had to do was call the guys at scuba.com and they walked me through the fitting over the phone. The rep. was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I received a suit that fits me perfectly.
The Neosport by Henderson 7/5mm is a great suit for the Puget Sound by Seattle. I was never able to swim out here for more than about 30 minutes before getting cold, with this suit I could stay out all day! It doesnt get too hot, I dont sweat, and adds a great deal of buoyancy (from the super thick neoprene). The suit also has some knee reinforcement, and a good zipper. Be aware that because this suit is so thick it is very stiff,... View Full Review

| XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch 2 Piece Combo Reviews
Reviewer: Kenneth Ries on 10/13/2006
Suits me fine - I visited 7 local dive shops and tried on suits from as many vendors before ordering the XS Scuba 7mm Farmer Johns from Scuba.com.
Many of the suites I tried on fit poorly, often too tight in the chest or two loose in the arms. I contacted Scuba.com purchased the XS Scuba suit without trying it on. According to the sizing chart, I was right in the middle of the XL size range. My sales consultant let me know I could return the suit if it did not fit. The fit was perfect.
For a sub $200 price, the suite allows for an amazing freedom of movement. The pyrostreach panels are placed well and help the suit move. The suit is well made and should last for several years.
I have used this... View Full Review

| Mares 8/6/5mm Trilastic Jumpsuit Reviews
Reviewer: Shealeen M. on 7/12/2008
Comfy and Stretchy - This is an amazingly comfortable wetsuit - particularly for the thickness. I think it stretches better than Henderson Hyperstretch and the trilastic material feels soft and cozy. For a womens 7/5 its wonderfully easy to get into and its clearly made for a womans body - curves and all. I really like this suit.
That said, the generous sizing might be a bit of a problem for some. By "generous" I mean that a size 14 will actually fit a woman who wears size 14 jeans. Absurd that I have to consider this generous, but if youve tried on enough suits you will know what I mean. So - if in doubt, Id say order down (It will stretch, after all!). My own suit is a bit big and not as warm as it... View Full Review

| XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch Jumpsuit Reviews
Reviewer: David Russell on 5/26/2008
Like a 7mm second skin - Spectacular suit for the money. Combined with a 7mm hooded vest worn underneath I dove 42 degree water just north of Seattle with buddies in dry suits (2 dives) and was not only comfortable, but surprisingly warm.
The second dive took a few seconds to get comfy after re-donning the upper part of the suit but once under water I was fine. The inner liner makes it relatively easy to slip on, even when wet. Even following the sizing chart the first suit was a little snug so I called and ordered the next largest size. The company service rep was great and I had the new suit in a few days. As with any wet suit a good fit is critical.
The stretchiness of the Prostretch feature makes it feel like... View Full Review
