Questions and Answers for Apollo AV-2 Evolution Scooter (DPV):

  • KEN:

    1. How can I get the red light to go off? 2. Can I glue the outer rim next to the orange gasket? Thank you Ken

Greg  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The red light is an indication that water has entered the battery housing. 1. Check the battery housing for water. 2. Wipe the inside of the battery housing to remove all moisture. Take special care to wipe away any water between the two screws placed next to the warning light. 3. Close everything up and see if the motor turns on. 4. If the motor turns on, you should be all set to go. I would be careful using any glue around the orange o-ring.

Batteries have a maximum amount
of energy to provide with each charge.
Riding style, pitch, speed, and other
factors in your control can maximize
performance. What are your current

Riding in the slipstream
STREAMLINED = INCREASED SPEED, DISTANCE, AND DIVE TIME
The conventional riding style can be hard on your body. The drag over
long distance rides can result in excessive muscle fatigue in the arms.
Body position creates resistance and reduces vehicle eciency.
Our patented AV2 saddle allows you to easily ride in front of the vehicle.
The hands free riding style streamlines the body and scooter to reduce
drag and dramatically improve both speed and distance traveled on a
single battery charge.
running 13A sla is just the ticket.
The king of batteries, 20A Nickel Metal
Hydride is superior in performance and
design. With up to 2 hours from a single
charge, there is plenty of time to play,
travel, and 2- 3 dives! In comparison
to lead, it has a longer shelf life and is
signicantly less susceptible to short
charging. NEW Li-Ion battery set
