Customer Reviews for Bladefish Sea Jet 5000 Underwater Scooter (DPV):
Rating: Bladefish Sea Jet 5000
Reviewer: John M Deans,
I purchased 3 of the 5000s prior to a month of use in Grand Cayman. The BIG plus is traveling with them, very light and compact compared to some of the standard torpedo type scooters. Performance is not lacking either, easy to use or just tether along while snorkeling the sites. Total time of use on a charge is a little less than the standard style scooters, but not prohibitive. For free diving while snorkeling, I was forced to tape down one of the switch positions so that I could use one hand to clear my ears and that worked very well. We are able to extend our snorkeling range to several hundred yards from shore, of course with the appropriate dive floaty, and take in sites normally only accessible by boat. In Summary, we wont snorkel without them!

The Bladefish 5000 is wonderfully light weight and maneuverable compared to my Seadoo Explorer DPV at about three times the weight and only slightly better thrust. I have not yet investigated battery life

Superbly designed. This is not some bulky lead battery old school. Do not get the others

Reviewer: Shaowen Lin,
Wonderful is the only word I would like to use to describe this product. At my recommendation, I think you have a new distributor in Taiwan now.
